The last time they lost Higgins late in the week, the offense was a joke (just prior to the Patriots game). I think in that case, they'd spend all of camp with Higgins and no Chase, but then that was entirely reversed at the last second. It ruined whatever gameplan they had cooked up for Week 1 (which was probably bad anyway).
This time they had an extra day or so to adapt their process, and it's October. No excuses for the offense to be a steaming pile today. Figure it out.
