The last time they lost Higgins late in the week, the offense was a joke (just prior to the Patriots game). I think in that case, they'd spend all of camp with Higgins and no Chase, but then that was entirely reversed at the last second. It ruined whatever gameplan they had cooked up for Week 1 (which was probably bad anyway). This time they had an extra day or so to adapt their process, and it's October. No excuses for the offense to be a steaming pile today. Figure it out.

Let me have Erick All and Mike Gesicki getting all of the extra targets (apart from Iosivas) intended for Higgins and not Tanner Hudson, please.

I think Barkley annihilating the Giants was at least somewhat due to the added motivation of facing his former team. But clearly the Bengals defense will need to stay on top of the running game. I think they've actually done that pretty well the last three weeks apart from Derrick Henry's very last carry. Jalen Hurts hasn't been great in recent memory, so let's keep it that way. Regardless, this is definitely a better team top-to-bottom than the last two. Can't be laying eggs on offense.

I think the real problems have been Rehkow and Adomitis.
