If he puts up 20 pick sixes, we all care :-) seriously there is a new pastry shop called sebastians that is on the sort of street between beechmont and sutton. It used to be an ice and beverage depot not the street where the water tower is Quote

It used to be an ice and beverage depot not the street where the water tower is I don't drink coffee and if the pastries are really $10 each, I will never step foot in the place. That's like Parlour donuts on Beechmont where a dozen donuts is $40. No thank you. Always like mom and pop shops in the community however and wish them well. Quote
HoosierCat Posted Monday at 10:45 PM Author Report Posted Monday at 10:45 PM We had some important muckety mucks in the office last week and someone brought in a box of Parlour doughnuts, which I’d never heard of. Pretty damn good actually. When I was a kid there was a doughnut place in a deer park just off the corner of Plainfield and Galbraith IIRC that had the best cinnamon twists, and these thing absolutely nailed that flavor. Plus they were still good the next day. So yeah too expensive for everyday but for the right occasion I’m a fan. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted Tuesday at 12:06 AM Report Posted Tuesday at 12:06 AM Key part to that story Hoosier? You didn’t pay for them. In that instance they are great. An old saying I always loved: If it’s for free, it’s for me !! 2 Quote
COB Posted Tuesday at 12:20 AM Report Posted Tuesday at 12:20 AM True story - there is a doughnut shop in Newark called Jolly Pirate doughnuts. that’s the whole story. 1 Quote
COB Posted Tuesday at 12:27 AM Report Posted Tuesday at 12:27 AM JK, not the whole story. So anyway when I was prosecuting a long, long, long, time ago, I’m doing direct examination on a cop who had caught a guy burglarizing a transmission shop late at night. Cop says my partner and I heard an audible alarm from the transmission shop, we rush there and catch this dude. I’m like ok, great. You guys were parked nearby? I get an evasive non-answer. I say ok were you guys driving by and you heard the alarm? Cop gives vague non-answer. This went on for a little bit. I finally push this guy, exactly where were you guys when you heard the alarm? Cop goes all right, not that it matters, but we were sitting in Jolly Pirate eating doughnuts, it’s right across the railroad tracks from the transmission shop. 1 Quote

volcom69 Posted Tuesday at 01:10 AM Report Posted Tuesday at 01:10 AM Not going to lye and maybe it’s just me but yesterdays win left more questions then answers about this team. Yes they are 5-2 and that is awesome, but right now they are so one dimensional it’s crazy! They are a pass team, with no running game, and a very suspect defense. They are way it is right now I’m not really sure how far they go. For one this coaching staff is terrible on both sides of the ball they just really suck. Zac should be the pass cordinator for them and that’s it. They need to find a run game and find one fast. Not only that, but figure out what kind of team you are and come out in the first quarter and do it. Stop with this slow shit, you’re not always going to win this way! That’s up to this coaching staff to figure out, and now they got Jamarr pissed so maybe that will light a fire. Defense is still trash and it showed again yesterday. Once again why are we not playing the young guys when others get hurt. Freaking put them in and see if they are any good least we will know moving forward. I hate Golden he is not an NFL d cordinator and it’s starting to show. Teams are exposing the defense now and I’m not sure they fix it. One dimensional team, can they fix things, will they fix things, to go where they want they need to. I might not be questioning this if it was against Buffalo and we gave up this money points but scored this many. But it was an against a team who could do nothing prior to this game. Who knows maybe now the Titans will be good and there QB will start playing better lol 1 Quote

COB Posted Tuesday at 02:20 AM Report Posted Tuesday at 02:20 AM Zac Taylor loves data centers and wants to seize your kids at their woke public schools and force them to have sex change operations during lunch on Epstein’s plane. You send your little girl off to her second grade classroom one day and in the afternoon when she gets off the bus she’s a trans data center who will spend all her time giving free socialism to illegal immigrants and believing science. Thanks Zac Taylor! We’ve had enough of Zac Taylor’s liberal, un-American, coaching. Vote Zac Taylor out of office before he lets Ilhan Omar start calling plays. 2 Quote

ArmyBengal Posted Tuesday at 08:58 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 08:58 PM That was my son's story as well COB. He went to the Newark campus his first year and they hit it up frequently. He's in Columbus this year, but something tells me he was good with that trade off. Quote

HoosierCat Posted Wednesday at 03:57 PM Author Report Posted Wednesday at 03:57 PM Ravens appear to have decided tanking is the better part of valor. Lamar is on IR, Huntley is done for the season with turf toe, and third-stringer Fagnano is wearing an ankle brace at practice…and is set to start tomorrow night against Jax, backed by QBs Austin Reed and Kedon Slovis Quote
