Stripes Posted September 16 Report Posted September 16 Burrow was limited today due to a shoulder thing. I won’t do a Twitter freakout until I have a reason. Still, Joe lowering his shoulder into a linebacker was very stupid. He can’t be doing that shit. Quote
volcom69 Posted September 16 Report Posted September 16 Hopefully he will get some reps later this week at least. Also hope he makes it through the season. They say it’s nothing maybe it’s nothing, then why talk about it or make a big deal about it. At this rate no more sneaking or taking stupid hits lol. Just make it through the season please!! Quote
volcom69 Posted September 16 Report Posted September 16 Also can Dan Pitcher please start calling plays? Maybe he is an offensive genius and we don’t know it because Zac is selfish and does not want to stop. I always feel like with this offense and now this offensive line they should be firing on a cylinders, and yet many teams with less talent put up better numbers. Sometimes I feel only things that stays the same is Zac calling the plays. I don’t know just would like to see them under a different play calling, maybe it would be better, or could be worse. Quote
Allentown21 Posted September 17 Report Posted September 17 Looks like nico collins is out for the Texans. He pulled his hamstring in practice today. That's a significant loss for them obviously Quote

ArmyBengal Posted September 17 Author Report Posted September 17 ArmyBengal Jr. hit me up this morning and told me about this. BIG loss for the Texans offense that was already hurt at the WR spot. Nico is CJ's favorite target and him not being on the field decreases their ability to take the top off the defense. I hate it for the Texans and while not saying I love it, will say this presents opportunities for the Bengals. 1 Quote
Stripes Posted September 17 Report Posted September 17 Houston’s WR group was already rough with Collins, because Jayden Higgins is on IR. That leaves a familiar face to catch the ball. Mitchell Tinsley. 1 Quote

That leaves Boutte they got in trade from the Pats, Hutchinson, and Noel as their top 3 targets. Quite the different look for CJ and something which should play into the defensive game plan for the Bengals. Tinsley is on the practice squad unless they call him up. God knows they have been picking his brain. That's a good thing because David Montgomery out of the backfield will be one to watch. Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 17 Report Posted September 17 Burrow back at practice today so all the freaker outers can chill. Quote
COB Posted September 18 Report Posted September 18 Bills look unstoppable tonight. Hopefully this is an aberration. Quote
COB Posted September 18 Report Posted September 18 Torbert and his crew have royally screwed the lions in this first half. Quote

The Lions defense looks worse than the Bengals defense of last year! Yea this Lions defense was so bad. Must say though that’s how you finish a freaking game, dont turtle up, go for the first downs, go for the TDs. Zac take notes i hate how he tried running it up the middle on 3 downs, maybe sometime let Burrow throw for it, or try screens or whatever. Quote
COB Posted September 18 Report Posted September 18 Shemar Stewart set to play in Sunday. I am not enthusiastic about this development. Hopefully he proves me wrong, but I envision him overrunning plays in his zeal to get it going, leaving wide open spaces for the Texans to run in, or throw little dump off passes to RBs. Quote

Stewart is going to come in and take over the defense so completely that future generations will refer to the 2026 Bengals D as “She-Mar and the Masters of the Universe.” 1 Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 18 Author Report Posted September 18 I like what I saw out of Howell’s first game and hope he continues to develop. Stewart? Sure, why not? Seeing him go off would be amazing. Just not holding my breath at this point. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 18 Author Report Posted September 18 Hanging out with my son in Columbus and flying out in a few hours. Going to be a great weekend !! WHODEY !! Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 18 Author Report Posted September 18 Flight is delayed so chillin in the airport. Texans starting right guard, Ed Ingram has also been ruled out of the game. If the Bengals let this plethora of Texans injuries opportunity slip, I’m going to be pissed. Quote
volcom69 Posted September 18 Report Posted September 18 They said Burrow is playing, he is listed as questionable, so I guess they had to add him like that. Not sure how that works, but they said he was going to play. So hopefully the o-line plays at its best on Sunday. Throw the ball away if it’s not there. One more hit might put him out. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 18 Author Report Posted September 18 Burrow said it was ridiculous to think he wouldn’t play Sunday so there’s that… Quote
Stripes Posted September 18 Report Posted September 18 I think he's just "probable" even though that's not a designation anymore. The Bengals have numerous advantages in this game that they didn't necessarily have at the start of the week. The schedule is still tough for a few weeks, so they need to capitalize while they can. Get out of the first four games 3-1 or better, and you have a red carpet rolled out for a high playoff seed. Quote

Don't worry we'll choke in the playoffs lol. It's clockwork I'm excited about our start but my heart has been broken too much. I just try to enjoy the present as a bills fan and hope for the best lol Quote
Allentown21 Posted September 20 Report Posted September 20 I'm extremely excited about this game because I get the feeling burrow is going to make a statement. He's the best QB in the world imo and my 2nd favorite qb. I think the Bengals are going to start fast Howell, Lawrence and Murphy are going to eat Quote
