The Jets might have the worst QB room in the league and this is a game, dare I say, the Bengals should win.

I simply just don't know what to expect.  Flacco from Thursday night = easy win.  If not, who knows?
Minus maybe a handful of players, that just doesn't look like a talented roster.

I'm going to side with Flacco being solid again and the Jets floundering about.

Bengals 31
Jets 17

any given sunday........

the bengals will have to take this game seriously to win.  treat the jets as a dangerous opponent, forget their w-l record

Exactly.  We have some young guys who might start thinking it’ll be a walkover.  Exactly how you lose games like this.  Golden needs to keep those young linebackers focused and determined.

Agree, we are not a good football team and if Thursday night Flacco doesn't show up, they can easily lose.

However, this is still a game the Bengals should win.

Saw where the Jets Sauce Gardner is in concussion protocol and Garrett Wilson is dealing with a knee injury that kept him out Sunday.
Those are two of the maybe handful of players the Jets have that are above average.
If they don't play, along with the QB issues, things could get out of hand for them.

Just need to handle business.   Jets don't look like a pass rushing force AND opposing QBs have decent ratings against them.     This needs to be a coming out party for the defense or forget about anything else.

Get your final Big Dolly platter soon, Army

All local Dolly's locations being closed

Thank God.  That place is like a nursing home cafeteria.  Old, musty, smells like grease and ben gay.
I went with my wife one time and couldn't even stay.
They need to tear that place down and put in something that's not a chicken place, smoke shop or oil change.
Roney's ??  Not my favorite, but not horrible either.  Arby's is just more convenient if that's what I'm tasting.

This game should bear out well for the defense.  If it doesn't, the defense has more problems than I thought.
However, if they win, everyone will just say.  Well... it was the Jets.

Well, I see things are going just peachy in New York today.

Quote

The winless New York Jets are planning a quarterback change, sources told ESPN, with owner Woody Johnson weighing in Tuesday with stinging criticism of incumbent Justin Fields.

Woody also gave head coach Aaron Glenn the dreaded vote of confidence, noting that "he hugs Glenn every day, giving him encouragement." Careful there Aaron, one of these days (probably sooner rather than later) that hug will end with a knife in your back.

Tyrod Taylor will reportedly be named the starter for the game today. Hopefully the Bengals aren't their usual welcoming selves to journeyman bums at QB.

If something is working and not broke why try and fix it. The o-line had not been great, but with Risner and Rivers at guard, I thought it’s been pretty good, and they moved the ball and ran good. So at practice they have Fairchild now starting and Risner looking on. I don’t know I would just roll with what’s kind of working for now.

I'm not sure there's much difference either way (meaning better or worse play) at LG between Fairchild and Risner. Risner definitely looked better there than at RG, but still had some ups and downs. I get the argument for continuity, though.

Rivers I am less sold on. He's been better than Risner was there, but that's not exactly a high bar. I'd like to see Patrick again.
