HoosierCat Posted 8 hours ago Author Report Posted 8 hours ago Sanders falling to the third lolololol. What did he say in interviews, that he was going to scalp ownership or something? Quote

Stripes Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago If you want a guard, take Ratledge when he’s there. Such goofy process. Whatever, it was a dire need. I hope Fairchild has it. Quote

AMPHAR Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago I've considered changing my screen name to "guard" so I can get blown by this board all year long. Not a whole lot of reaction so far but it will come so to speak 1 Quote
AMPHAR Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago I would give this draft so far a solid D.    They've hit the positions but too much having to read a bunch film nerd crap to understand it. Classic off the beaten path draft which will get bad reviews but sometimes works out.  Quote
HoosierCat Posted 7 hours ago Author Report Posted 7 hours ago Pff: Fairchild is a two-year starter at left guard for Georgia who posted a nearly elite 89.2 pass blocking grade across the past two seasons. While he isn’t quite as powerful as his teammate Tate Ratledge, he is equally adept with his footwork in pass protection and is athletic enough to function as a puller or at the second level. Fairchild has a reasonably high floor as a candidate to serve as interior depth for a team in need of functional pass protectors. If he can get stronger over the next couple of years, he could develop into something more. Quote
AMPHAR Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Fairchild did not allow a sack in two years.  Great.    Reread the analysis of the first round pick. College game is making it hard to produce sacks.    Quote
HoosierCat Posted 7 hours ago Author Report Posted 7 hours ago So long Volson, per da site: Bengals Reaction:Â "He'll come in and start at left guard. ....We were crossing our fingers he would be there." - HC Zac Taylor "A pro day trip worth making ... Scott was able to work with him and get his hands on him ... We went down there with Dylan in mind. We went down there with high regard for the player. We left with even higher regard for the player.....We enjoyed our time in the classroom with him. We were impressed with his articulation of his role in their offense. He could look and tell you his mistakes. His physical play fits our style." - OC Dan Pitcher Quote
volcom69 Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Fairchild is a really good pick, giving up no sacks in 2 years I’ll take it. Was also a wrestler as well, so strong good hands, sounds like a good pick up here. Quote

HoosierCat Posted 7 hours ago Author Report Posted 7 hours ago JFC is Sanders even going to get drafted? Quote
HoosierCat Posted 7 hours ago Author Report Posted 7 hours ago Shit even Cleveland passed on Sanders. Quote
