Let's go ahead and do a new thread since the site wouldn't let me edit the title of the summer thread.

Rookies report tomorrow. Mock turtle soup Monday. Vets Tuesday and the easing into practices starts Wednesday. Hoping for some separate threads soon for Burrow's contract and maybe one or two more.

I am on vacation starting tomorrow so will probably be able to get on top of updates from camp etc in this thread fairly regularly next week.

the rookies I am most excited about are the new DE and the new KR/PT

on the veterans side, I want to see how the new OL gels (with particular attention to the ORT spot) and how the new starting safeties work out

Burrow's contract should be done by now.  Pay the man, SoaG.

I’m equally excited to watch some of the free agents we brought in as well. I think it’s easy to forget those guys when adding new shiny rookies, but they will make an impact this season.

I want to see Orlando Brown in stripes, but Nick Scott, Sidney Jones, Irv Smith, and even DE Tarell Basham. Those guys are going to be seen for sure !!

I think they’ve proven their approach to this point has worked more often than not. I have no concerns.

So on the o-line I guess D'Ante Smith's time has run out and FA Cody Ford gets the axe.
There are going to be some solid depth guys from the D-line that won't make this team.
I honestly don't remember, did they only carry 4 LB's last year?  Seems thin, but whatever.
Sidney Jones is a CB and if they carry him that way, he makes it over DJ Ivey (practice squad) and allows them to keep Tycen Anderson.
Or maybe Anderson just isn't healthy still?  Maybe Jones as well?

I've been out of the loop for the last 4-5 days, so playing a little catch up.

I actually like Tobin's approach.  Keep asking me and I'm going to keep saying the same thing.

I'm glad this isn't a back and forth in the media.  It will get done and we will move on from there.

Yeah the oline projection had the most surprises to me too. Collins has clearly been working hard to get back but it’s still hard to see him ready to go in September.
