Oh, that clown ??  Yeah, probably why I haven't given him any thought.

At this point unless they are going for a guy like Gilmore, I'd rather add a player through the draft.

Wonder if he still holds that opinion?  Guessing not.  That's quite the plate of crow to have to consume.

Stop COB, there are people offended by that statement. I mean everyone knows socialism is the bestest thing EVER !!

That press conference where the Browns introduced Watson was horrible.  Everyone there looked like they wanted to kill themselves.  No joy, no celebration, no enthusiasm.

The general message seemed to be: “We know it’s wrong, but this is where this business is.  Win at almost any cost, and get a top ten QB at almost any cost.”

If you read Browns forums they are all now forced to be legal experts, lol.    Reminds me of Bengal boards circa 2005-2008.

But I agree with win at all costs.   Yes it is a head ache when you have a dirt ball playing for your favorite team, but that dirt ball would be playing somewhere in the league.

Unless the league completely expels these character issue players then you have to consider them and how they would function within your football team.

Now fair media coverage is a different story because Bengals were always vilified during their troubled times.

I’ve updated my profile pic with my daughter and my pic after Paul Brown Stadium family dey last season.  This year she’ll go to her first real game to see the defending AFC Champs!   Brrrrrrrrrr!    She can already do part of the whodey chant and she’s only just turned 3.  She nails the NOBODY every time lol

Larry's gonna land somewhere, so why not here. As much as I'd appreciate having him back though, I am not sure it moves the draft needle at all. I'd still view 3T as a big need.

I’m sure he’s trying to claw back some that Bears deal he lost out on.    I would think he’s still an option but might be waiting.

I'd be OK with a man/press corner, a 3TDT, a coverage S, or an passblocking ORT at pick 31.

I guess I'd sorta kinda be OK with an OG like Zion as well, tho if he can play OC (like he did at the Senior Bowl after never getting a snap there in college) I'd be more interested - I already know he can play OG, but the versatility would make him more attractive at 31

I know everyone but me likes Linderbaum here as well, but I maintain that he needs more muscle mass

If a S is picked, I'd take it as assumed that JB3 has basically told the FO he's gone after 2022.  It is what it is.  Sadly.

Regarding Linderbaum, I will readily admit that I am still recovering from the Billy Price pick.

Price was taller, weighed more and had longer arms than Linderbaum, so I am not going to say the guy is a slam dunk Center prospect.
If he were, there wouldn't be talk of him being there at #31 when the Bengals pick.

All of that said, Price wasn't nearly as polished and refined as Linderbaum is.
Going back and looking, Price was thought to working his way into a starting position after a couple of seasons.
The Bengals simply treated him as a slam dunk and plopped him in as the starter from jump.  I think he was in over his head.
From there he simply never progressed and then lost his job.

If the Bengals just HAD TO HAVE Linderbaum, the situations are completely different.  There would be no expectation of him as the week 1 starter.
While I would prefer that with our first round pick, there's certainly no rush considering the roster of players we now have.
They could go the route they are right now with Karras in the middle and let Linderbaum develop, lift and learn.
If injury or something else forces that issue, he's there.  There's worse situations to be in as an o-line in my opinion.

Would love Linderbaum at 31...an out in our steal.  He is the best graded olineman PFF has ever graded two years in a row.  A mauler with impeccable technique.  Lock down OC move Karras' to starting LG...perfect.  Linderbaum is a HS wrestling champion and penned a much bigger Tristan Wirfs while surrendering about 30 lbs.  Not worried about arm length or size, maybe if he were playing Tackle....
