COB Posted November 3, 2021 Report Posted November 3, 2021 What are they doing, just giving him the rest of the year off, paid? They could have gotten something for him before the trade deadline. Now I don't understand what they're doing. Buyer beware with that dude. Quote

Reportedly there were trade talks with the Saints but no deal before the deadline passed. Quote
COB Posted November 3, 2021 Report Posted November 3, 2021 I get it, you couldn’t get anything done. But is he such a cancer that you don’t even want him on your team? If he’s open all the time like his father/agent alleges, keep letting him run routes a throw it to him a few times. Possibly the Browns are going to claim he violated a clause in his contract and refuse to pay him. Quote
HoosierCat Posted November 3, 2021 Report Posted November 3, 2021 Apparently there’s no guaranteed money left on his deal so they could cut him and not pay a cent more. Whether they do we will see. Quote
AMPHAR Posted November 3, 2021 Report Posted November 3, 2021 Mayfield plays better without OBJ, doesn’t he? I always thought that was the Cleveland fan theory Quote

I would like to give the Lions something resembling a chance to knock them off tomorrow, though this one might be addition by subtraction for the Steelers. Quote

Ben is pretty bad these days, the backup will outplay him but the narrative will be that the Steelers rallied around the 2nd stringer. I’m rooting for the Lion every week, it would be triple sweet to see them knock off the quasi-criminal organization known as the Steelers. Quote
COB Posted November 14, 2021 Report Posted November 14, 2021 Ok go Lions. And, go, er, uh, Patriots? Yep go Patriots. Quote
Stripes Posted November 14, 2021 Author Report Posted November 14, 2021 7-0 bad guys in both games. Quote
Stripes Posted November 14, 2021 Author Report Posted November 14, 2021 Well suddenly it’s 14-7 Patriots. Chase better find his groove again or Mac Jones will steal OROY from him. 1 Quote
Stripes Posted November 14, 2021 Author Report Posted November 14, 2021 24-7 Pats and 10-10 Lions at the halves. That’ll work. Quote
HoosierCat Posted November 14, 2021 Report Posted November 14, 2021 The Lions will find a way to lose. Or the refs will just hand the game to Pitt like they always do. Pats look like they got the Clowns covered tho. I think they hang an L on Cleveland. Quote
volcom69 Posted November 14, 2021 Report Posted November 14, 2021 Still sitting here trying to figure out how they let 2 bad teams look like Super Bowl teams. It really makes no sense to me. 1 Quote
COB Posted November 14, 2021 Report Posted November 14, 2021 This ad where Serena Williams turns into Wonder Woman and smashes tennis ball machine robots has destroyed me mentally. Quote
COB Posted November 14, 2021 Report Posted November 14, 2021 Serena Wonder Woman ad is the Patriots, I’m the Browns. 1 Quote

It really makes no sense to me. I don't think Cleveland is a bad team. The NFL is rarely a league that makes a lot of sense. The variation possible between any two weeks is immense. I still believe this season can be a strong and memorable one, and weeks like this reinforce that. Sometimes you just get smacked around in American football. Tom Brady has looked like ass today in Washington. Quote
Stripes Posted November 14, 2021 Author Report Posted November 14, 2021 Detroit has every opportunity to win this game. Quote

Stripes Posted November 14, 2021 Author Report Posted November 14, 2021 I hope they can at least kill enough clock to get a tie. Quote
COB Posted November 14, 2021 Report Posted November 14, 2021 Just watched Detroit’s kicker miss a field goal in overtime. He didn’t just miss it, he hit it fat and it just was pathetic. Quote
Stripes Posted November 14, 2021 Author Report Posted November 14, 2021 I seriously never want to hear some clown Bengals fan cry about how this is "the worst franchise in professional sports" again as long as the Detroit Lions exist. Quote
AMPHAR Posted November 14, 2021 Report Posted November 14, 2021 The worse football game I’ve seen in a long time Quote
COB Posted November 14, 2021 Report Posted November 14, 2021 Still better than a Steelers win. Feel bad for big Dan Campbell. So close. Quote
