COB
Someone on Twitter named Jason just reported: Bengals lead the league for number of players they drafted that are still on their roster with 37.
HoosierCat
Team A: our roster has pro bowlers! Team B: our roster has all-pros! Bengals: our roster has guys we drafted!
ShulaSteakhouse
Yeah just indicative of laziness and being cheap really, settling for mediocrity in a lot of cases. If you don't care enough about winning, I don't care enough to spend a dime on your "product.'
AMPHAR
The Bengals were a young team in 2017, got younger in 2018 and were the youngest team. They ticked up slightly this year. Big coaching staff turnover. Basically what a lot of Bengal fans wanted with a house cleaning. Lost 2 road games by 5 total points and got destroyed at home. Edit: Teams they’ve played are 8-1. I think it’s to early to declare what kinda of job they’ve done.
AMPHAR
The only complaint I have is after 2016 when it was clear the Marvin party was over. Maybe after 2015 melt down. Should have cleaned house then. But they eventually got there. The offensive line reboot has been horrible and probably ends the Dalton era. They probably need to address that part towards the 2nd half of the season and play Finley.

AMPHAR
Mostly agree. AJ Green would be my No. 1 all time. I would also cheat and have Whit start at one of the guard spots.
HoosierCat
I’m putting a healthy Greg Cook at QB1.
AMPHAR
Roll Call: who is a 53 worthy player? 1. Dalton. Yes he can play in the NFL, starter. However I’m tired of him and of the opinion he won’t be worth the cap room after next year=need 2. Hopkins- keeper Center filled. 3. Rest of o-line= crap. All needs. 4. Mixon= keeper 5. Gio=keeper 6. Boyd=keeper 7. Green=keeper/trade if you can The rest of offense ?????? so far. 8. Hubbard=keeper 9. Dunlap/Atkins keepers but falls in Dalton category. Trade if you can 10. LBs- crap so far no keepers 11. Jackson= keeper 12. Dre= keeper 13. Safeties? I dunno, Bates not as good as I hoped. 14. Lawson? I dunno, where is he at? 15. Billings. keeper 16. Bullock- no 17. Huber- keeper Anybone else?
AMPHAR
Following back on this. This thread,IMO is one of the more astute observations this season. So the Bengals have waved in-season two opening day starters. Willis and Smith. In the case of Willis he’s been waved twice and no one picks him up. Marvin left the cubbards thin. A few injuries and the Bengals are starting multiple players that are at best destined to be roster fodder.
volcom69
They also waived Preston Brown, and so far looks like a good move to me
AMPHAR
Forgot about Preston. He did get signed by the Raiders but hasn't played yet. Just way too many starting jobs and/or snaps taken up by guys that can't find meaningful playing time immediately with another team. Smith, Preston, and Willis. Then there is John Jerry who was a street FA. A playoff team might have 1 or 2 of these type players filling out the 52nd and 53rd player. Bengals got 4 sucking up a good deal of snaps. That's just guys proven to not be wanted. If you sent out Hart, Price, Jordan I guarantee those guys aren't walking into starting level snaps.

AMPHAR
I would take Whit at guard over both, but Montoya and Whit would be my guards. With Muñoz and Willie.
