Well, I'll help us all out a little.  Let's say a bengal's player, or a Jag, or a Chief, does it - that's holding.

Now let's say a Steeler does it, or a Cowboy, or a Patriot - that's not holding.

Cannot throw shade on that comment.

Our line sucks.  The Browns are supposedly shopping Joe Thomas, and they want a second round pick.

I'm all for it assuming we could afford him, he makes about a bazillion.

Browns should definitely not trade him, which means they definitely will trade him.

It's a move right out of their baseball playbook.  They're out of the pennant race, so trade your good players for prospects, also deny the trade is in the works until it is actually made.

Bust status based on what ??
Compare his numbers through 7 games with the Falcons and his entire season with the Bengals in 2015.

He's producing a little less than his YPC avg from last year (11.2 vs 11.9)
He's had almost as many receptions through 7 games as all of last year (23 vs 33)
He's also had almost as many yards through 7 games as all of last year (258 vs 394)
He's produced almost as many first downs through 7 games as all of last year (13 vs 17)
Oh, and he has 2 TD's so far, where he had zero for the Bengals in 2015.

He's basically projected to have the best season of his career when looking at how things have gone.
People can argue about his salary if they want, but his contract isn't even in the top 20 of his position in total value.

Can't really say as I care since he doesn't play for us any more, but that's a short sighted opinion at this point in the season.
Did they think they were getting AJ Green instead of Sanu ??

Yea I don't get what the Falcons are saying.

I wouldn't mind an o-line trade at this point, just tired of watching them struggle. Or hell put in Fisher he can't be any worse(or maybe he can). Something needs to change, this offense could really be something if the o-line was half decent

Least surprising story on the year.

All this tells me is Falcons fans son  quite understand football so well.

Ryan and Jones having career years, Sanu on the field contributes to this success. Can't make judgements in a vacuum. That is, unless we are discussing Bodine . . . ;)

Good Ced O film breakdown on CJ.  As was already obvious to many of us watching the games, he's terrible in pass pro.  Gil Brandt has him giving up the most pressures in the league.  CJ and other outlets say he is not strong enough in his arms or legs.  Technique is bad as well.  The Bengals can't hide it as it's easy to see on film... that's why he is getting benched.

Ced O himself said he needs to put on 15 lbs of muscle in the off-season.

If Winston is taking snaps away from him it must mean Fisher is a mess as well.

Nugent is going no where

he should have gone, like 2 years ago

I agree. He isn't as sharp as he once was. Forbath would be a decent upgrade, or Josh Scobee.

Enquirer says it's a done deal with Gilberry.

Bengals also now have an open PS spot, Pats signed TE Matt Lengel off our taxi squad. So they will probably cut someone with PS eligibility to make room for Gilberry.

This is why this team never makes over the hump, they just don't know when it's time to let players go.

They have no clue how to work free agency with the draft, they don't know how to say goodbye when a player is just not who they were at one time.

Its sad to know this team will be stuck and never make it anywhere, because nobody seems to know how to run this team!

CB Chris Lewis-Harris cut. Hobson is billing the move as the "first shoe to drop" in the big changes on defense promised by Guenther.

No, seriously.

Quote

On Tuesday defensive coordinator Paul Guenther vowed to make changes no matter years of seniority as he looks to rehab a defense that is on pace allow 99 more points than last year's franchise-record setting crew.

The Bengals have to make room on the 53-man roster for Gilberry and the first shoe dropped Thursday when the club released backup cornerback Chris Lewis-Harris.

Championship, fellas! Cham-pee-own-ship. Start printing those playoff tickets and make reservations for Houston in February!

First shoe. Ell Oh fukkin Ell.

Who knew Gilberry was the key to the whole damn thing all the while ??

God knows cutting Lewis-Harris is going to send a chill down the spine of the rest of the team.
Like, OH NO, not Lewis-Harris !!!!!  Who's next ??  Chykie Brown ??
SAY IT AIN'T SO !!!!!!  That'll show'em !!!
