volcom69
well OK then. Are we going to get serious now?If that first round pick had been Brown I would be over the moon about this draft. As is Ogboobooie is dragging it down. Oh well, on to day three!I agree, but I do like the Fisher pick, I just hate the first round pick
HoosierCat
Why does that rundown of Dawson say he is one of the most polarizing draft prospects? Seems like a solid guy. He's a head case. His coaches love his play but he's undisciplined off the field. needs to grow up and learn how to be a pro.
TJJackson
a good read from the horse's mouth/>http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/draft/2015/02/11/paul-dawson-draft-diary-tcu-texas-christian/23253621/
COB
Only knock on Dawson was combine performance, which I don't care about. Cap pears to be an instinctive, productive player. Not worried about broad jump or cone time.
Wraith
Love Dawson so happy they took him...now if Jarrett just falls to the 4th....

Kazkal
Good pick but I do wonder how much playing time he'll get being we run mainly a nickle defense
cincyhokie
Really like the Dawson pick. Seems to be in the mold of a Burfict, which I like.
ShulaSteakhouse
/>https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=u3izLFsWGpYThis is impressive btw - remember how good TCU was last year. Stay healthy and stay out of trouble - he is an instant upgrade to what they have, which is the most important thing.
gregcook68
I'll jump off a bridge if they take another offensive player.Shoot! I was hoping for another offensive player, and then watch the central Ohio news media for reported suicides!
redsbengalsbucks
Finally 2 picks in a row that I don't have any issue with.I like the first round pick of OT, but not the fact that he is already hurt. I don't like Fisher as a player much, he has some technique flaws. Kroft is probably the best all around TE prospect in the draft, he can block and run routes. We needed LB depth badly and Dawson was the BPA for that need. Wraith
I was at a seminar with Rich Gannon recently and he said he needed guys of high character, intelligence, and most of all passion. This guy has a passion for the game and you can feel it just watching his tape.

UK Bengal
I really do like this pick, from that video he looks like he can cover something Ray struggles with. He has a nose for the football stays in his gap and shuffles into the hole.Major upgrade imo
GapControl
I'm very pleased with Dawson. Last time I liked a guy on tape like this was Burfict. The time before that... Marvin White. Still wondering why he didn't become more

skyline
Have you guys been following the Dawson interviews? The guy's got swagger. There's no denying that. A healthy Burfict with Dawson beside him would certainly bring a nasty edge to our D.
TJJackson
This guy has a passion for the game and you can feel it just watching his tape. This is *exactly* what I wanted to say last night and for whatever reason I couldnt put it into wordsThank you Wraith for NAILING ITI kept getting reminded of the linebacker in The Replacements From The Replacements (2000)Jimmy McGinty: [Danny returns to him with the ball he got in the last play] You got me the ball.Daniel Bateman: I got you the ball.Jimmy McGinty: You got me the ball.Daniel Bateman: I got you the ball.Jimmy McGinty: [shouts repeatedly] You got me the ball!Daniel Bateman: [shouts repeatedly] I got you the ball![then whistle blows]Jimmy McGinty: [speaking calmly] Go sit down now, Danny.Daniel Bateman: Okay.[McGuinty then lets out a relieving sigh]
ArmyBengal
There is a player I see on that tape, that I'd rather not mention to place so much expectation on him, but wow.I think he gives starters a run for their money this season. Certainly helps with the unknown of Burfict.
kingwilly
/>https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=u3izLFsWGpYyou know who I see when I watch this? Odell Thurman.... the knack for finding the ball, the pure play reading. Dude, this is why the talking heads who know (like Mayock) said he has the best tape/play of any LB.Gotta love this pick.
