ShulaSteakhouse Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 No turnovers by Dalton = win Quote
jonf45uk Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 Win ugly in baltimore in week one without Burfict, eiffert and quite a few others? Yeah, I'll take that!!!! Quote
Stripes Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 As much as the unbalanced playcalling bugged me... At least Dalton didn't throw 62 passes like Flacco did. Quote
UK Bengal Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 Grrrrrrrr and Shit WHO "Fucking" DEY Quote
Scottishbengal Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 great result.i thought the lack of TDs when they had the cahnce was going to come back to haunt them. Poor second half of 3rd quarter and 4th quarter when ravens completing and making 1st downs for fun.glad that one's out the way - lets hope injuries aren't too bad and everyone fit for next Sunday.WHO DEY Quote
volcom69 Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 Geno Atkins carted off the field at the end not goodMarvin thinks he was dehydrated Quote

Kazkal Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 Win ugly in baltimore in week one without Burfict, eiffert and quite a few others? Yeah, I'll take that!!!!I'd almost rather have a loss to avoid 3 Injurys we did :/ our Linebacking core took huge hit. Quote

volcom69 Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 Burfict had a concussion so hopefully it's not to bad that he can be back next week. They need more defense line help. Also without Marvin Jones and Eifert they should look for some WR help till Jones gets back. Quote
WhoDey93285 Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 Great to get a win in Baltimore. I was afraid not cashing in on opportunities early would haunt us. It did. But team showed good resolve on the road to keep composure and walk out with the W. Losing eifert was huge. You could tell he was a huge part of the gameplan and I really felt like he was going to have a great year. I'm really bummed about his injury. Hopefully he can come back before the end of the year. The defense definitely was not the same without Vontaze Burfict. Hopefully he can pass concussion protocol and get back next week. All in all, WHO DEY! Quote
Kazkal Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 I know we didn't return any kickoffs today but was it tate back there? Quote
volcom69 Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 Yes Tate was back there.I'm starting to think if Hue wants to be a running team they need a true FB. I loved the game plan early on I like the no-huddle, but still hoping he runs the ball a lot more then he did today. Quote
Wraith Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 All the experts who criticize Dalton for a: not coming up big in big games on the road or b: nor having the arm to get throws deep and catching the receivers in stride or c: not playing well against the Ravens on the road can just suck it. Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 7, 2014 Author Report Posted September 7, 2014 If you look up the cliche "good teams find a way" in the football dictionary, this game is the definition. We have seen the Bengals play this game about 1,000 times. Except all those times they were the home team today. The killer penalty, the QB and WR not on the same page, the horrible time management at the end of the half, etc.Today is a good day. Quote

Wraith Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 Burfict is the big one. Look at the yards per play against with him vs. Without...absolutely mind blowing difference. Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 7, 2014 Author Report Posted September 7, 2014 Geno walked out of the locker room, said he was fine. Quote

Stripes Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 The defense ought to be tested next week with or without Burfict. The Falcons just put up over 550 yards. Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 7, 2014 Author Report Posted September 7, 2014 On that note let me say:Congratulations Zim on your first win as a head coach. And Washington fans? Get used to it. Quote
Wraith Posted September 7, 2014 Report Posted September 7, 2014 I think we are going to look back on this win and say that was a great win over a pretty good team. Quote
