Stripes
Well let's begin with my favorite:f**k Rayner. And how about those backup QBs? It's pretty meaningless granted against a Colts team that never begins to give a crap about the preseason, but it's certainly refreshing after all their horrible play the last few weeks. volcom69
Um Johnny Sears will not be on this team, i think he gave up every TD expect that one on David Jones.QB play tonight was much betterAndre Smith started out horrible against Hughes, but he came along good i thought. Didnt give up a sack after that one, and thought he was half decentSowells i thought did a pretty good job also, Hudson is a project and should be on the practice squadSimpson great game, all but that stupid punt return mistake he had, Briscoe looks good he should be on the practice squad. Matt Jones will be gone im sureSpecial teams was great tonight, think they will win us some games this year. Please let Nugent be the kicker or find a new one i dont want Rayner.Glad no major injuries tonight

Stripes
It's been a very nice offseason for Jerome Simpson. Three months ago who among us could have really expected him to become essentially a lock to make the team based upon his performance?Yeah, the muffed punt sucks, but he isn't ever going to return punts anyways. ShulaSteakhouse
Peerman is VERY intriguing as a KO returner, if they keep either Joseph or Peerman while Leonard heals.Simpson looked great all preseason. Although we've never really seen him run with the ball...ever. So far Andre Smith = Freddie ChildressThe o-line is still by far the biggest weakeness, and has a scary lack of depth currently, just like last year. Should have gotten away from the returner

Sea Ray
I thought it was a great last preseason game because some younsters played well, they won and most importantly no injuries. I don't even think there was a play stoppage to help a Bengal off the field.Just ask the Patriots (Bodden) or the Steelers how important that is.Was anyone else incredibly impressed with Peerman's speed? I hope they keep him over Johnson. He can play special teams and can spell Benson if needed. The backup DBs and OL looked very shaky. Those guys need look no further than film of that game when they ask why they've been waived

COB
On Peerman's long run I kept waiting for him to get run down. It was odd to see a guy that big outrun people. I'm thrilled to see Simpson develop. On his touchdown he jumped, caught the ball with his hands away from his body, tucked it away with one hand and used the other to break his fall. Pretty athletic stuff there. Finally, I know I keep harping on it, but Andre Smith blocks people far away from the play. Did you see what he kept doing to their end on running plays? The poor guy was just about getting pushed over to the sideline. He's still inconsistent and conditioning is still iffy, but damn, when he's right he's righter than anyone else we've got out there. Marvin White was a good pickup. He knows the system and we needed depth at safety. Good move there by the Bengals. I think Pat Sims solidified a spot on the team. Wraith
Impressed with Sims and Simpson muffed punt not withstanding (what would he be the 5th best PR on the squad after Cosby, A. Jones, Shipley, and Scott?)
