Looking at the home opponents for 2023, I will targeting a few of them to hit up. The Texans game will be a must attend for ArmyBengal Jr. and I have an Army buddy from Houston that will come up. I will want to see the Rams come to town and we kick the dogshit out of them. The Bills will be a good game and I'm going to give the Bills fans what they gave us coming up their way, without being a total asshole about it. Both the Seahawks and Vikings game are intriguing as well. I have no interest in any of the AFCN matchups or the Colts. Would be cool to road trip the 49er's game this year.

I thought it was hilarious, but some shit a typical Steelers fan would say.

Steelers fan?

COB… No inclusion of the Rascal Freedom Power Wheelchair in that story ?? Thumbs down…

Again, I'm only reiterating what has already been said about the RB's. Still don't care. Mixon bringing what he brings to the field is wanted and needed. That doesn't make 13 million make sense. It doesn't. I want someone more dynamic with the ball in their hands to add to the mix. In my opinion that is something this offense is lacking. Free agency isn't going to bring that. The draft holds that possibility, but who knows? If it were me, I would add another RB currently on the street. Don't care who. Then I would add the best "playmaking" "homerun threat" I could in the draft. I don't care if the kid is 5'4. Is he a threat with the ball in his hands? Yes? ADD HIM !!

Again, I like Mixon. I want Mixon on the roster. Just not at nearly 13 million per year. That kind of shit just isn't smart when trying to work Burrow and Higgins extensions, let alone others like Wilson. The fact Austin Eckler is currently getting paid less than 7 million per year and people talking about how RB's aren't making that much, tells the story. 13 million is fucking ridiculous. Like I said, I fully expect them to pay that for his services in 2023. Shocking would be seeing the Bengals do something different than that. Free agency doesn't do anything about that though. They could bring in whomever they like to add to that group and they are simply filling Perine's void.

While hating the teams in the North (That's natural) I love the AFC North. I still feel it's one of, if not the most, physical in the league. An old school mentality so to speak. Even if that's not what you see other weeks, you feel it when the teams play each other. They bring it in those matchups. Agree they beat each other up.

I think we could all argue a specific direction and be correct for whatever the reasons. 3 weeks out from the draft and here are my thoughts. (Subject to change of course) #28- If Darnell Wright is there, he's the guy I want regardless of what happens with bitchass Jonah. Wright would probably be a better option than the scrum of Adeniji, Carman, Smith and Ford in 2023 and certainly will be in 2024 when Jonah certainly won't be on the roster. If Jonah doesn't leave, this pick is more about the future of the o-line, which should ALWAYS be a consideration. If Darnell Wright is gone, which is possible, then I think we see CB and TE become targets, minus someone falling they didn't expect. Another Darnell to watch would be TE Darnell Washington. The fact he's like another OT on the line has to be VERY appealing to the coaches. Him being a huge target and a solid pass catcher is a bonus. That pick wouldn't surprise me in the least. CB is another position that will always garner consideration early due to how the NFL has turned into such a passing event and I expect one within the first three rounds. RB is an outlier to me. I want one, but fully expect them to pay Mixon his ridiculous salary. They could go RB later and still get really good value. I actually like this RB class through many rounds. Again, with 3 weeks to go, things could change. Started to get all geeked up about the draft.

Trevor Siemian in for a visit. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/04/04/trevor-siemian-to-visit-the-bengals/

So I think Hoosier mentioned Profootball Network’s mock draft simulator and so was playing around with it, with a different caveat. What if the Bengals DON’T takE an offensive tackle in the draft and either roll with what they have or get someone in a trade with Jonah or during cutdowns? Well… this is how it turned out. TRADE DOWN TO #33 WITH TEXANS: In return, the Bengals get pick #88. #33- Calijah Kancey, DT, Pittsburgh #60- Emmanuel Forbes, CB, Miss. St. #88- Sam LaPorta, TE, Iowa #92- Andre Carter, DE, Army #131- Nathaniel Dell, WR, Houston #163- Dorian Thompson-Robinson, QB, UCLA #206- Deuce Vaughn, RB, Kansas St. #246- Michael Turk, P, Oklahoma I honestly love every one of those picks.

Holding out hope

I’ve noticed that as well Hoosier and agree. Is it too much to ask for a draft that consists of: 1. Darnell Wright, OT, Tennessee 2. Calijah Kancey, DT, Pittsburgh 3. Sam LaPorta, TE, Iowa Again, I’m not thinking there’s much more to squeeze out of free agency at this point. 26 days until the draft and that’s probably the focus at this point.
-
I’m still all in with Kancey at #28. Put him next to Reader, getting pressure from the interior and your edge guys get more opportunities to eat. Free agency?? I remember when Ngokwe or whatever his name is was the hottest thing going and he’s still on the street at this point.
-
1 million ?? Seriously? That’s ridiculously cheap for any CB. So 3 million total for him and Smith. That doesn’t hurt.
-
Funny, I really like Basham coming out of college. Had him on my last mock draft for that year. Lost track of him after the draft but he may do well in Lou’s defense. Can’t hurt… Might also have something to do with Ossai having shoulder surgery on a torn rotator cuff just recently.

Stupid is as stupid does. Diante Lee apparently does stupid really well. Good job clown.

In an odd twist on Cincinnati sports ownership, the Reds "brain trust" seems to think the Reds cannot be a profitable team and will not be able to contend because of that. This OBVIOUSLY results in the team underperforming and a fan base which, while loving the Reds, will only show up to the games because of cheap tickets, some bring your dog to the ballpark event, or the ever popular beer cup snake challenges the drunk fans partake in. Conversely, the Bengals front office changed coaches and invested time, energy, and GET THIS, money into the team and the facilities. This resulted in the team beginning to change their approach to free agency, spending on players, and what type of players to bring into the team. The Bengals start winning, go the Super Bowl and then the AFCCG in back to back seasons and there is a wait list for season tickets. The Reds ownership needs to sell the team. With them in charge I would bet a large amount of cash they won't see a .500 season again. Shitbags...

I'm done with the RB discussion here. Don't care... I will sit back and read. I'm out.
-
Stupid Reds. Expecting more of that throughout the season unfortunately. What are the odds the ballpark is half full again for the rest of the season ??

I have inside information that the sausage was made from chicken lips and dicks.

Zeke rushed for more yards than Mixon. Mixon caught for more than Zeke. To suggest Zeke was not productive is an incorrect statement. That’s all Mem has suggested. Not sure why you are so hell bent to argue that point. Him not being the pass catcher or rusher he once was does not equate to him not being productive.
-
Was Zeke better than Pollard last year ?? No, but neither was Mixon or Perine. Did Zeke lose snaps in the passing game? Yes, but that didn’t keep him from rushing for more yards than both Mixon and Perine. My only point was simply saying Zeke was productive and probably would have gone for over 1000 had he not missed games.
-
Yeah I have no idea, as I haven't bothered to pay much attention, to the RB market. I also have no idea what Zeke may be asking or what the Bengals would consider offering him. All I know is that, at a minimum, he would match what Perine gave up. Me and wanting to think better of things, might be looking for more. I think he would be plenty motivated from a few different angles.
