I would have to go look at his stats, but I’m tired and don’t feel like it, but maybe it’s not that he gets burned so much but when he does, it just looks really bad in the process.

Glad to see the Ravens doing so well cleaning up drama… who cares? Who cares about Bates either? Thanks and buh bye. Enjoy that winning culture in Cleveland.

TE, OT or CB There are plenty to like and someone should be there at #28 that will fill the role. See what they do with their own in free agency with maybe a new guy in there. Not stressing at this point .

If he wants to stick around, he has to be smarter than this. Even if he wasn't involved, someone IN HIS HOUSE was, which resulted in a child getting shot. Maybe it's not you Joe, but you are picking the people around you. PICK BETTER !! That whole thought process of where there's smoke, there's fire may apply here. Hoping he doesn't have anything to do with it directly, but thinking the team may feel it's just not worth it anymore when considering how much they are paying him.

Breaking news on the TV… Gunfire at Mixon’s house and a child was hit and taken to the hospital. Don’t know if he was involved.

As much as I do enjoy running mock draft on those sites, I go in fully understanding how completely full of shit they may be. ProFootballNetwork has one and the draft rankings are at times way different than others thinking on players. 2a. TE Darnell Washington- after trading down 5 spots and picking up an extra 2nd rounder 2b. OT Darnell Wright- RT of the future 2c. DT Calijah Kancey- How the hell does he fall this far? 3. CB Eli Ricks- In the 3rd round? Seriously? 4. RB Tyjae Spears 5. QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson 6. DE Ali Gaye 7. WR Eiljah Higgins

Random 2023 Bengals stuff before FA and what not
ArmyBengal replied to membengal's topic in Cincinnati Bengals
Glad that was a temporary outage !! Even if Terry didn't have anything to do with it being back up and running, nothing like offering up a THANK YOU for keeping the lights on around this place !! After 20 years, I really don't want to find another place. I don't think I would bother at that point. Just the end of posting on forums for me. -
I know people don’t typically care about the Combine and simply dismiss it as some useless event… HOWEVER, Kancey ran a 4.67 40 today. 6’0, 285 running a 4.67. That’s fucking ridiculous.

And the Ravens fire their strength and training coach after the team was one of two that didn’t get an “A” or better in that area. The Ravens score you ask? ”F-“ Fucking hilarious

Pretty much what I expect Pollack to say, especially pre-free agency and draft. Now if that comes to be and Adeniji is the starting RT week 1, I won’t be so happy about that. I’ve said it before but there is zero chance Collins plays before the mid point and probably longer. That would be next level healing for a man that big. -

For what it’s worth, I don’t really think much about the Burrow extension. It will get done when it gets done and the money will be what it is. Whatever the dollar amount, in 3 years it will look like a bargain anyway. I’d rather it get done sooner rather than later, but that’s really about it regarding his new deal. Thanks for posting that Mem. -

I just always pegged Higgins as the odd man out because you can’t pay everyone, but didn’t see trading him at this point in the process. At least see how the team is functioning come the trade deadline and see from there. -

Why the hell anyone would think the Bengals would trade Higgins is beyond me. He's vital to this offense, isn't a free agent until 2024 and the Bengals could (see will) tag him if no deal can be had. He's a #1 WR on many teams in the league. -
The Official, "What are you listening to right now?"
ArmyBengal replied to NJ29's topic in General Discussions
Ok, I enjoy finding new music that appeals to me and I have a couple for different reasons. To start, if you are open to a band that doesn't seem to follow one particular genre, ranging from some heavy riffs, to jazz, to an almost etheral feel, check out Sleep Token. Sometimes they infuse everything all in one song. It can sound odd at first, but listen through it. This is "The Summoning", but they have many songs I really like. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJNbtYdr-Hg Then this next one is just an interesting song in general, but not something I would listen to often. I also haven't checked out any of his other work. This is Ren with "Hi Ren". For anyone who has suffered with illness, depression or anything of that nature, the depiction and performance, not to mention the lyrics should really relate. The dueling personalities within his head are all too familiar. VERY DIFFERENT. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpu1OyPlIhQ -
I'd rather the Ravens take shots with increased chances which may or may not work out in the draft, then Jackson staying in Baltimore. What are the odds they find a replacement at QB that has those abilities or better? Not great. I get it though, if he wants a guaranteed contract, I would probably look to get what I can in picks and move on as well. As a Bengals fan, I can still take pleasure in them having that concern. Buh bye Lamar...

I disagree though in that there isn't much about the offseason I DON'T like. I like when free agency hits, the combine, the draft, when camps get started, all of it. It's enjoyable (Albeit, more so lately) and the discussions surrounding it are a good time for me. I watch a ton of college football and am aware of many of the players and I find it fun to see where they end up. To each their own though. -
Just saw the Giants released Kenny Golladay. No, I don't want him here, but prior to going to the Giants, I wouldn't have been opposed and his name was in consideration. He was so bad in NYC, they took a 14.7 million dead cap hit just to show him the door. DAMN...
-
Yeah, I'm not in camp Lewan under almost any circumstance. Just go draft a high end OT to start out playing RT and move on.

You know, I use to put thought into what the other teams from the north do in the draft, but the recent success of the Bengals has really changed that perspective to a great degree. Regardless of who they get to improve their roster, they still have to find a way to beat us and this team has proven it has the ability to game plan and make adjustments during the game. In other words... FUCK YOU AFC NORTH !! YOU HAVE TO PLAY US !!! Yes, I'm getting amped already for the 2023 season.
-
Something to wash it down with? Tums? Imodium? Fleets enema? Maybe a package of all of the above and about $45-50 million per year I'm guessing.
-
Point taken and agree. Still like him but I get it.

Regarding Dalton Kincaid, if his back issues are going to be resolved, he’s still the most productive pass catching TE you will find in this class. He should certainly be in the discussion unless he’s broke for good. I recall wanting Gronkowski when he came out of college but most were down in him due to spinal stenosis. Thank God we passed on that guy. Im drawing parallels between the two in that regard, just the medicals.

Interesting thought process and work done there.

Regarding Smith-Njigba, there would be worse things in the world then taking him early. TB is a free agent after this season and will be turning 30 heading into 2024. While I would hate to see TB go, Smith-Njigba would fit right into the slot on the cheap for the next 5 years. All that being said, there are far more priorities I would prefer to see, but him dropping to 28 would make you stop and think.
