  1. I don’t think it’s that I really hate almost any pizza, it’s more there are some I would prefer to eat more than others. My least favorite is probably Domino’s. I kind of cycle through all of them. I love Adriatico’s down by UC.
  2. Cleveland and Philly play tonight. Bengals play tomorrow at Atlanta. However, I'm good with seeing the starters get a series or two in the game.
  3. Wow a slightly better version of the shit pizza they already serve at the stadium. Color me unimpressed.
  4. Today ?? Yes 100% agree. Standing by !!
  5. Specific to the above, there won't be ANY talk of using the tag because he's under contract next year. That's my point. The Bengals could in fact sit on a deal this year and wait. While I think they would be stupid to do that, a deal is not something that is a "must". They could get to the point of using a tag, but that won't be until 2025. Then that's when I could see something ignorant happening like a holdout, but I'm not willing to place a bet on that scenario. Outside of that, I don't necessarily disagree with you guys, but this front office has not given me a reason to think that's the road this will go down. Mike Brown and team don't strike me as the kind of people that will do something simply because of what another team has done either.
  6. Does anyone here really think this deal won't get done? Is anyone thinking the team is going to absolutely fuck this up beyond all repair? I literally don't have a single reason to believe anything of that nature. I choose breathing and being patient.
  7. Why is it that every player on every other team is assumed to be in mid season form right now, while the Bengals are assumed to be high school players right now? While they struggled last year, there were more than a couple reasons for that, including injuries. Now we see Burrow with another injury and missing time. While he may be a little rusty to start the season, he has never had a healthy offseason/preseason and has managed to take this team to back to back AFCCG, with a Super Bowl appearance.
  8. I just think it's so hard to really say how good or poorly Pollack is actually doing his job. I guess on one hand some may say the proof is in the o-line rankings. Then again, when was the last time we didn't have 2-3 o-linemen hurt and having to start backups at some point in time or another? Some may then say that the backups should be able to come in and keep things together. However, most teams have a hard enough time finding 5 quality starters, let alone backups, that have no business starting. Doesn't Bobby Hart still play in the league? Then what type of QB do you have playing for you? Is he purely a pocket passer, or does he try to make plays with his legs when things fall apart? Sacks, hits, and pressures aren't always the product of the o-line failing to block. Don't get me wrong, I'm not in the habit of handing out passes, but I simply think there is so much to what happens on the field (a QB that says "who cares about 3rd down sacks?") that it makes the evaluation of the guy who doesn't step on the field rather challenging.
  9. Dallas has traditionally had a pretty amazing o-line and it hasn’t done them a lick of good. We had an absolute abortion of an o-line that Burrow took to the Super Bowl. Burrow is pretty awesome…
  10. Well Siemian will be starting against the Falcons. Here's to hoping he has a better game.
  11. The way I see it is the Bengals knew Bates' contract was going to be problematic for them to fit into the mix when looking at the team as a whole. They took proactive steps to address that position in the draft when Hill fell to them. They tagged Bates and gave Hill a year in the system to learn. Then they let Bates walk in free agency, naming Hill as the starter. Honestly, I have 100% faith in how they approached the situation and the decision to let Bates walk. It's one small example of how the philosophy of this team has changed since Coach Taylor came on board.
  12. Tycen Anderson, even outside the two picks, played really well when given the opportunity Friday. People forget about him because of his injuries, but if he remains healthy, he will be solid depth if nothing else. Another thing people either don't know or forgot is his athletic ability. Both Dax Hill and Cam Taylor Britt ran a 4.38 in the 40. Anderson ran a 4.36. Stay healthy Tycen !!
  13. Yeah but even after the ball was snapped, he had to see that cavalcade of “Whoop Ass” running by him unimpeded to the QB. Maybe he has narcolepsy ?!?!
  14. WTF was that from Carman? I don’t know the cause, but that’s a bad look.
  15. If my biggest concern with the team is which QB will be sitting the bench the most, I’d say we are doing alright !! Just noting what I saw last night at one of the position battles going on with the team. So ready for week 1 to get here !!
  16. I suppose but a better line won’t help him from staring down receivers. Here’s to hoping this is Burrow’s last ding of the year.
  17. I have never been a fan of Siemian and last night only confirmed my beliefs. Not a quality backup.
  18. I’m happy we didn’t get banged up and will be looking forward to next Friday’s game against the Falcons. Inching closer to the regular season !! Can’t freaking wait !!
  19. There is not much to take away from the game, minus Anderson and a few plays here and there. It’s just too hard with so few starters actually playing. While I could list more than a handful of flashes from a positive perspective, I really only have one drawback. Siemian… Rookies and backups have nothing to do with him staring down his target straight from the snap. I was paying pretty good attention to him and he rarely, if ever, worked through his progressions. He knew where he was going pre-snap and stared down his guy until he threw the ball. Even then, the throws were errant at best. That doesn’t make me a fan a Browing per se, but Siemian was flat out awful last night.
  20. Nice Stripes !!
  21. Great night to hang at the stadium. The family of our undrafted free agent WR, Mac Hippenhammer was sitting right in front of us and when he got in the game they were screaming and cheering for him. He caught a couple passes and they were really excited for him. Fun night !!
  22. Everyone said the same thing about the prices. “Gotta pay Joe”. Part of the reason people who drink Coke would buy the souvenir cup was for free refills. Well, they got rid of that too. No free refills. That special cup will now cost $9.55. Such is life…
  23. Two Skyline coneys and a large drink at the stadium ?? $20.84
  24. The no information on a return is because teams don't have to give out injury information if they don't want to at this point. So you don't think Burrow should step on the field without a new deal despite having two years left on his current contract? It also can't be forgotten that they can always use the tag after his option year, so it's really at a minimum of 3 years of control on the team's part. They could even tag again, but that's typically not a financial option for most teams. There is no win for Burrow heading in that direction. I agree the deal still gets done sooner rather than later, but suggesting it's going to happen because of his current injury or to suggest he shouldn't get back on the field is pointless. There is simply nothing that points to either of those things being the case.
