  1. I don't want a tight, hard fought game. I want to see them hand the Bills their asses. I fucking hate those clowns. I don't want to see any mention of Damar Hamlin or any of the niceties that have been afforded them in the past. It's the past, Hamlin is playing again, and they need to focus on doing more of what they did against the 49er's. In other words, don't make their stay any more comfortable and welcoming than it has to be. Just go bury them.
  2. 1.5 at home? So basically not favored... No worries. If they play like they did against the 49er's, they are going to blast the Bills. Yes, I'm that confident. It's been a while since I felt that way.
  3. In a very happy place this morning. For the various parts of the game I could voice my irritation about, despite the miscues, they had their most complete game of the season. Seeing Burrow absolutely dismantle the 49er's defense was a reminder of just how good he is when 100% and how much the AFC should not overlook a clicking Bengals team. How many years have we watched a well rested team come out of the bye and completely shit the bed? Not yesterday. I know they have rattled off three in a row, but this game had a different feel to it. Continue that into this coming Sunday against the Bills and they win that game as well. At that point, everyone in the media will be right back on their dick.
  4. Despite the mistakes, the Bengals came out of a bye week and dominated a team most say are Super Bowl Contenders. Yeah, I like the direction they are heading. Fuck you Irv Smith.
  5. Ok can Irv Smith fuck off yet? Is it ok to say it this week?
  6. I'd be upset about Chase Brown being out, but something tells me we won't miss all his action on the bench. Heal up quick young man, you might be needed in 2025.
  7. Yeah, not sure I would call any QB in the NFL a pushover, but to your point Hoosier, this is a situation that the Bengals need to take advantage of. Just bring consistent pressure and bottle up McCaffery.
  8. Yeah, if he's available and they just HAVE to have a WR, give me Nabers in that scenario. My preference however, would be the 6'4 Coleman from Florida State, as he would fill that role that Higgins holds now. I've already been playing around with the ProFootballNetwork mock draft. It's just fun to pass the time here and there.
  9. Agreed and wish him nothing but the best. Crazy to think he's spent the majority of his life either playing (19 years) or managing (26 years) baseball. He was drafted by the Braves before I was born in 1967. Not to mention he served for the Marine Reserves from 1969-1975, which I was not aware of. At 74 years old, he's more than earned his retirement !!
  10. Not really a fan of a WR in the first, but anything is feasible depending on who is still on the board. Just wouldn’t do much for me. Coleman, Nabers and Egbuka would all be better options for me, but I assume they were off the board.
  11. Dudes… If we lose to Darnold, they should just pack it in. Looks like the 49er’s are just trying to get to the bye week. The defense should be going balls out in putting on pressure.
  12. Stripes… you took the words right out of my mouth. Anything but a backup QB !!!
  13. I don't care how they win or by how much. Just walk out of there with the "W". That would be a huge boost for them kicking things off after the bye.
  14. Sucks for him. Hope he’s ok.
  15. Sounds like Orlando Brown wants to play and may be ready. God knows I would feel better about things with him in the lineup Sunday.
  16. Agree with them getting wins and feeling good about things. That would be better than where I’m sitting now.
  17. "Woof" indeed. 8-3 with that schedule? I don't care how much we love our Bengals and think it's feasible, that's a tough ask. Well, bring on Sunday and let the sledding begin !!!
  18. The whole, "This is a must win game" at this point is of absolutely no value. EVERY GAME is a must win. They can't afford to drop games against the really good teams left on their schedule, because they need to get ahead of them in the standings. At the same time, they can't afford to lose to the teams they are suppose to beat. 49er's Bills Texans Ravens Steelers Jags Colts Vikings Steelers Chiefs Browns They put themselves in a hole early on and now have to dig their way out. Is that impossible? Of course not, but it's not going to be easy sledding. Go on the road and hand a very good 49er's team an ass whooping, with solid execution since they had extra time to prepare.
  19. I just want to see what appears to be a very focused and prepared team coming out of the bye.
  20. Seriously, moving that up on the list of where to move when I retire. Great story… I needed to use the bathroom so I dipped into a McD’s. It was a single bathroom with the door opening to the restaurant as opposed to being toward the back. I grabbed the handle and it was locked. At that point, I and all the restaurant heard the thick Boston accented man yell, “Hey, I’m on the shitah in here, gimme a break”. I fell out laughing, but no one else even raised an eyebrow. Awesome !!
  21. Just for the record, I walked the Freedom Trail this morning all through Boston. Look it up if not familiar. It was easily one of the coolest things I have taken the time to do. The USS Constitution was so neat to see and walk through as well. The local restaurants, especially Italian and fresh seafood are simply amazing. The whole city is like a park and full of history. Don't usually say this about places, but I could see myself living here. I had a blast !!
  22. Again, it's not that I would have any issue with Perine coming back, but it better result in a different approach to a subpar running attack.
  23. Curious what the Panthers want for WR Terrace Marshall since they gave him permission to seek a trade? He’s someone I had my eyes on since him, Burrow and Chase played together at LSU. Obviously not a RB or TE, but WR is going to be a discussion come the end of the season.
  24. My comments were based of of what Callahan and the RB coach had to say about him, not my personal thoughts. I can’t see them saying all that about him and coming up with the conclusion that he isn’t that good. Although I could be wrong, I don’t think that can be the final determination after 2 carries. Literally. Honestly I don’t care if they give Brown more carries or Williams or Evans, just give them more. I can’t help but think it has to do with pass blocking. Maybe that’s the talk of maybe brining Perine back. He’s a plus pass blocker. All I know is they need more than Mixon getting 90% of the carries.
  25. I wasn't thrilled with Perine leaving and it's obviously hurt. That being said, I just don't get the unwillingness to get Brown more involved. They loved his toughness, production, burst, intelligence and great fit for the Bengals locker room. Limited pass protection noted by Callahan, but didn't seem worried about that. Thought he would be able to spell Mixon through games. Better runner than catcher. Noted there were a handful of RB's still on the board they liked, but Brown was someone they felt good about. Also mentioned they are high on Williams and Evans, so they thought they would be involved as well. Now I obviously don't know what's going on during practice or in the RB room, but it seems odd to me when considering the above. Mixon has gotten 96 carries through the first 6 weeks. While that's not concerning, Williams, Evans and Brown have 9 combined. That really doesn't jive with the thought of "spelling" Mixon. Why? Are they going to all of sudden get Perine involved more? It doesn't seem that way. If so, why haven't the others gotten reps to this point? They really don't know what these guys could do with more opportunities.
