  1. High school football is nearly over, college football is almost to the bowl games and the Bengals season is already shitcanned. Pretty sure this is where clinical depression sets in hard...
  2. Yeah, Mixon and his 8 carries is the coaching staff getting cute again and it's really irritating. "We just lost Burrow for the season and have Jake Browning the rest of the way." "So what's the game plan against the Steelers?" "You know what they won't see coming, rushing the ball less than 10 times." "CHAMPIONSHIP !!!"
  3. I get that as well. This isn't the first time Zac's play calling or lack of the running game have been called into question and won't be the last. I'm hoping they play more of the young guys to figure out what they look like, while simultaneously losing the remainder of their games. Fire Frank Pollack, look to draft a new RT and LG, along with a TE and Tee's replacement. Then something, ANYTHING, has to be done for them to get more pressure on the opposing QB's. I don't put much into what I see on offense, simply because a healthy Burrow changes all of that. Anyone thinking Browning was a possible answer, was simply not watching him during the preseason and I mentioned it many times. Not only is he not the guy with starter potential, I don't think he's even a guy that can come off the bench and get a few wins. So add backup QB to the list of needs. I don't know, I just figure the closer we pick at the top of each round can only help. Still a lot of football to be played and then who knows how they address all the other crap.
  4. Well you need to care Volcom. I mean, top 5-10 picks are hard to come by when you have an elite QB. Get on the tank train and come root for losses !! We are sitting at #15 overall and only a game separation from there to almost #7. A blue chip prospect at the top of the draft would make me feel better than any useless win the rest of the way. Sure, there are still concerns with contracts, play calling, a declining defense, the o-line and others, but baby steps my friend !!
  5. Aren't they wearing their white helmets for this one? At least they will look good doing it.
  6. Yeah they have struggled for sure and it really is odd. Not sure what Lou has going on but today’s effort appears to have been really poor. Like I said, I didn’t watch but the stats tell quite the story.
  7. The Steelers horrid offense put up more than 400 yards on our defense ?? BWAAAAAAHAAAAA !!! Pathetic.
  8. Didn’t watch the game but saw they lost. Good. On to Jacksonville to extend the streak !! You got this Bengals !!
  9. I would rather them channel their inner 90’s Bengals teams !!
  10. Hell yeah, bring on the tank !!!
  11. That was really gross. I mean seriously. 77 year old women just shouldn’t be attempting that. There’s nothing remotely appealing about that at all. To answer your question COB, I’d just pull your eyes out yourself and then put them in a hard boiled egg slicer.
  12. That shit would be EPIC. Not only that, but he would leave because some team was foolish enough (yes Browns, I’m looking at you) to pay him a buttload and we end up with a 3rd comp pick.
  13. Dude… decaf
  14. Maybe the casual observer needed that chart, but anyone else that watches the Bengals could have told you this without thought.
  15. The power of money is real ?? Next thing you know someone is going to suggest that ice melts when it gets hot. “If he gets up… We’ll all get up. It will be anarchy !!”
  16. Speaking of former Bengals free agent signings... The Jets just signed Trevor Siemian to their active roster. He's going to be the back up to starter, wait for it.... Tim Motherf*cking Boyle !! Who is Tim Boyle you ask? So are the Jets fans, but apparently he's been in the league for like 5 years. Good Luck Jets !! Not really, I hate you too. Die.
  17. We could win the Super Bowl and I would look forward to the draft. I love college football and enjoy watching the path for many of these young guys. If you mean that it sucks to be doing that with nearly half the season remaining, yeah, that sucks. Such is the life of a Bengals fan. Someone mentioned that this isn't for the weak of heart. Truer words have never been said. Well, that and Tyler Eifert probably fractured his ankle while blowing his nose this morning.
  18. I would only consider Tee being a luxury signing if we had another true #2 waiting in the wings of his caliber. I don't think Irvin or Iosivas qualify as a every game replacement for Tee.
  19. Speaking of tight ends, Tanner Hudson needs to continue getting more reps. I feel bad for that dude because it appeared that him and Burrow had a really good connection. Dude had 18 catches for 175 yards in his 5 games. 50% of his catches went for first downs. He has a future with this team for sure, but I still want a high end TE to pair with him. The rest of those dudes can be replaced in my opinion. Would Volson do better in another scheme with a new coach or is he just done? Never realized he has never taken a snap at OG until reaching the pro level. Also wasn't aware he was a first team All-American, starting 15 games at RT in 2021. Maybe OG isn't the spot for him or maybe he just can't but it at this level? At this point either a better FA OG option or a draft pick should be a high priority.
  20. Dude, I'm all in on watching Browning channel his inner Ryan Finley. Just get it done Jake !! However, I'm going to be honest here... I'm probably not watching many more Bengals games this year. I will check in here and there, watch highlights (hopefully low lights) and move on to next year. If there was one thing that would peak what little interest I have left in the 2023 season, it would be AJ McCarron. I just like his wife, I mean him, and would probably see if he could go out there and have some fun with it. God knows this roster is better than the one he should have beaten the Steelers with in the playoffs. I have no idea where he's at with the offense, but I'm just saying. Again, bring on the suck. Army needs a top 10 pick !!
  21. Can McCarron be worse than Browning? I mean I suppose he can but seriously…
  22. Oh that’s priceless !!
  23. I think that's something they could work if they wanted to. Agreed though in there being a nice group of WR's in the draft should they want to go in that direction. I would rather they find a way to keep Tee and then draft a TE early for the offense. Obviously there is a lot to figure out between now and the draft.
  24. I was thinking with Burrow being down for the year and Higgins said to not be part of future plans, if they wish they would have moved him before the trade deadline. Well, with hindsight being 20/20, I would guess that's not really important, but still. However, here's something that jumped in my head... I and others have said many times, "Higgins is a #1 on most teams". Now that this season is over, I'm left to ponder if that's really the case. Is he a #1 WR for another team? I know it only takes one team to pay him that way and they probably will, but I can't help but wonder if his best outcome is here as a true #2? Yeah, we aren't paying him what Chase is going to get, but how many times do you see a player move on and fail to achieve success? I just wish there was a midpoint where he would stick around. I have always liked Tee and wanted to see him get a ring with this group.
  25. With Jonah doing well at RT, which I knew he would and said many times, I would have no issue bringing him back there. Having him as a backup with Brown at LT would be a HUGE plus as well, but at what cost? Along with that question is, does Jonah still harbor ill will about the move from LT to a point he has no interest in returning? Maybe he really only wants to be considered at LT? Guess we will see. I think they need to get younger at DT, but have no issue if they bring Reader back. Again, at what cost? WR is a must in the draft and maybe double up at the position depending on what happens. I have a question to pose about Higgins, but will ask in the main forum to stir up the talk. Bowers may dip a bit due to the injured ankle, but he still goes high. Personally he would be a no brainer for this offense.
