Steelers @ Bengals Pregame Chatter

Recommended Posts

So it’s Steelers week again. I wonder which teams’ fans will be in the majority at PBS Sunday. I’d figure it to be a shoe-in for Pitt but they’re so blah this year too that I wonder if anyone will show.

Anyhow, a little chuckle courtesy of Hobs. Shot:

If there's any W I'd accept this year, it's this one.  Sick of dropping games to them at PBS.

An L is fine too though.  Gotta stay ahead of the racial slurs.

Paul Dehner says Cordy Glenn is practicing and the Bengals are hoping he can start at tackle this week against the Steelers.

Whatever.  I don’t care if this dude ever plays.

Someone on twitter came up with a much better nickname than mine.

Lol his arm strength is so weak so I can see this name. Every pass to the side looks like it’s going to be picked off.

Looks like no Green, Tate or Sample.

All 3 are guys who could help our rookie QB quite a bit.  Instead the poor guy is out there behind a line basically made of Chinese drywall, running for his life while depth guys work (unsuccessfully) to get open.  Tyler Boyd was complaining about no looks, well he’ll get tons of looks this week if he can get away from the inevitable double teams he’s going to face.  I’m not saying Foam Dart is going to get it to him, but he’ll get his chances.  Finley is probably not a starter in this league, but Tom Brady himself would have sucked as a rookie behind this line.

Is Ross back?

He was cleared to practice but I don’t think he’s active yet.

This Steelers game reminds me of Marvin and his infuriating ineptitude.  These couple articles I’ve seen lately that are portraying Marvin as a hot coaching prospect for next year; I hope you like losing to your division rival, because Marvin sure as hell couldn’t beat the Steelers.

Dear State Farm:  Stop sledgehammering Aaron Rogers’ ads into my face.  It’s over, unfunny, played out.

TJ Watt untouched by anyone, tackles our RB on first play for a loss.  Our strategy was hoping Watt would forget where he was and what he was doing for a moment.

Couldn’t deal with 1st and 20, Huber pins them on the 2.  Hopefully our 32nd ranked running defense will play well today.

That looked like a bad spot on Gio's reception.

Neat punt though.  Nice that our most reliable player is our punter.
