HoosierCat Posted August 18 Report Posted August 18 Early I know but we have news: Stefanski has tapped Bert to start against Cincy. https://www.10tv.com/article/sports/nfl/cleveland-browns-joe-flacco-starting-quarterback-week-1-matchup-cincinnnati-bengals/95-04b927d1-dffa-499e-9244-03a6d2134ac6 Quote
ArmyBengal Posted August 18 Report Posted August 18 We should win this game. That's all that I can really say about it however. Nothing would please me more than to see them go into Cleveland and skull drag those fuckers for four quarters. That being said, they probably win 24-21. 1 Quote

AMPHAR Posted Wednesday at 04:43 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 04:43 PM Browns have the ability to make it a grind it out game. Thus the Bengals need to put scoring pressure on the Flaco led offense to put the game on his shoulders. Start holding the ball and doing the dumb shit we saw vs. Washington taking a bad pass blocking rep and turning it into a 17 yard loss or a fumble is the dumb shit the all world QB needs to avoid. People don't like to say bad things about Joe Burrow but he has sucked in week 1 games the past 3 years. The defense will not be good enough week 1 to shoulder a bad offense and put the game on their back. If they lose a game with Cleveland scoring below 23 points then its on the offense, IMO. Is it fair, no. That's the way they are built and young defenders with new scheme probably isn't going to gel after less than 40 snaps which they don't give a fuck about anyway or looked as completely lost as they have. check it down all day long and for god sakes OL protect with 4 rushers and make them send 5/6 guys. HoosierCat Posted Wednesday at 06:52 PM Author Report Posted Wednesday at 06:52 PM CBS sports’s John Breech predicts Cincy gets off to a 4-0 start. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/predicting-when-each-nfl-team-will-lose-its-first-game-steelers-outlast-almost-everyone-eagles-lose-early/ Quote
ArmyBengal Posted Wednesday at 07:10 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 07:10 PM You know, at this point in the season (off) one prediction is just as reasonable as another. 4-0 wouldn't shock me, but then again, neither would 2-2 or maybe worse. I like the positive thoughts though !! Quote
AMPHAR Posted Thursday at 12:21 PM Report Posted Thursday at 12:21 PM Those survivor pools are hilarious. It seems like almost half or more of the pool is out week 1. I'm sure the Bengals loss to the Pats rocked a bunch last year. There will be one or a couple games this season as well. Hopefully Bengals do get out to that 4-0 start. 1 Quote
COB Posted Thursday at 12:55 PM Report Posted Thursday at 12:55 PM We better do well the first four weeks. Weeks 5-7 are Lions, Packers, Steelers. That’s a pretty serious stretch right there, would love to win 2 of those. Quote
Allentown21 Posted Friday at 06:01 PM Report Posted Friday at 06:01 PM Opening day is always weird and I don't put much into it even though as fans we will That being said Cincinnati is my super bowl pick. I've said as a bills fan burrow is the best qb in the NFL and has been since 2021. I get the sense he's on a mission and the Bengals will have a historical year. Bengals 44 Browns 20 Quote
