He's still a productive player and would have been great depth here. Don't know what the asking price was, so maybe that was prohibitive. Whatever, next.... Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 9, 2025 Report Posted September 9, 2025 Here’s the full slate of moves from da site: The Bengals today made the following roster moves: **Signed DT Mike Pennel off the practice squad to the active roster. Pennel, an 11th-year player, signed to the Bengals' practice squad on Sept. 1. He was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster for Sunday's game at Cleveland, then reverted to the practice squad yesterday. **Placed G Lucas Patrick on the Reserve/Injured list. Patrick, a ninth-year player, suffered a calf injury in Sunday's game at Cleveland. **Signed DE Myles Cole to the practice squad. Cole (6-6, 280), a second-year player out of Texas Tech University, originally was a seventh-round draft pick of Jacksonville in 2024. He played in eight games as a rookie for the Jaguars last season and recorded eight tackles with one TFL. He was waived by Jacksonville on Aug. 26. **Signed DE Isaiah Foskey to the practice squad. Foskey (6-5, 280), a third-year player out of the University of Notre Dame, originally was a second-round draft pick of New Orleans in 2023. He played in 27 games over two seasons (2023-24) with the Saints, totaling 17 tackles, a half-sack and one PD. He was waived by New Orleans on Aug. 26. **Released DE Isaiah Thomas from the practice squad. Thomas, a third-year player, signed to the practice squad on Aug. 27. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 22, 2025 Author Report Posted September 22, 2025 I liked Hilton being here. Wish him well in Indy. Quote

Yeah, apparently he started, sucked, got demoted, didn’t take it well, made his displeasure known and was shown the door. Pete Carrol doesn’t f around. We could stand a little of that here… https://dicecitysports.com/2025/10/06/breaking-raiders-release-offseason-acquisition/ 1 Quote
ArmyBengal Posted October 7, 2025 Author Report Posted October 7, 2025 Bengals trade for Flacco? Quote
COB Posted October 7, 2025 Report Posted October 7, 2025 I hope Joe Flacco can deal with a pocket that collapses in about 1 second. Quote
WelshBengal Posted October 7, 2025 Report Posted October 7, 2025 6th Round pick and Flacco for a 5th round pick Quote

Everyone was all about Knight, and he might turn out to be great, but he sure can’t tackle like at all! Right now I think Carter is better, and not sure that is saying much. Still think Wilson should be playing on a role with this defense, everyone mad about his tackling, well his counterparts aren’t any better 1 Quote
TJJackson Posted October 24, 2025 Report Posted October 24, 2025 good news: we finally have the definitive answer on the very best WR duo "by far" in the NFL :-) https://www.espn.com/video/clip/_/id/46696110 Quote
ArmyBengal Posted October 24, 2025 Author Report Posted October 24, 2025 Logan Wilson leaving is not in the best interest of the defense. Maybe he hadn’t played like we have seen in the past but there are variables involved. The guy is a team captain and should be given the opportunity to continue working through things. I don’t blame him in the least. Quote

Can’t say I’m surprised. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/46701489/source-bengals-lb-logan-wilson-requests-trade-amid-reduced-role He’s lost half a step, and apparently he’s lost half his brain cells as well. We have a depth guy who’s started like 85 games and can mentor and step in and play at some sort of level. And we’ll take a 5th rounder or something for that? There is no way. He did the absolute dumbest thing you can do with a trade request with the bengals, he made it public. Quote

COB Posted October 24, 2025 Report Posted October 24, 2025 The Titans just offered us an assistant social media coordinator and a medium to severe case of the gout for Wison. Do we accept? Quote
Stripes Posted October 24, 2025 Report Posted October 24, 2025 I don't think I have ever cared less about a trade request. That's not even a comment on Logan's ability. I think when he's on his game, he can be effective. Rather, I don't think the Bengals are going to do that. I also don't think Logan is the type to be a drama queen in the middle of a football season. He'll still play his ass off when he's on the field. So it won't make a single difference. Quote
