HoosierCat
Another week, another must-win. I don’t have much hope. The Ravens are probably going to run for 200+ yards against our alleged defense. If the offense can score 40+ they might have a shot. AMPHAR
Bengals win by a slim margin. Bengals have played 3 close games that could have gone either way. Unfortunately they all went in the L column. Solid road victory in Carolina. They may need to out score the Ravens because they looked great on Sunday Night. But its the same hard to follow rules. Don't rush pass Lamar, try to keep lane integrity and keep him in the pocket. Tackling is very worrisome.
ArmyBengal
The only thing I can hang a hat on for this game is they know what they are up against and have had some success here and there. I don't think the plan is going to change much this time around. I think the execution of that plan is where it all comes apart for the defense. My only hope is for a shootout we come out ahead on. That being said, I don't expect that to be the case. I'm expecting a two TD loss, but won't be shocked if they win either. Not exactly what I was expecting out of them heading into week 5, but here we are. 1-3 instead of 3-1. Stinks.
ArmyBengal
I would like to know how the o-line rated in yesterday's game. Not giving up a sack was a really nice change of pace. I thought Mims play was encouraging.
HoosierCat
PFF initial grades: Cappa 90.4 (no. 1 grade on o yesterday, Burrow was second) Volson 80 (3) OBj 78.6 (4) Mims 75.7 (5) Karras 67.1 (9)
TJJackson
Army has the Geno Jersey ready My good ole clock radio is tuned to 700WLW and I deleted my link to the game streaming If Stripes has a full stock of fine Cubans and top shelf Carribean rum for Jobu, we are all set for a big win (dont ask me how, I have no f'ing idea) aside: mystified that Robbins was activated. Rico Suave is our punter. I've nothing personal against the guy, but Robbins is either PS or on the street, not on the
ArmyBengal
They should totally play that song when he comes on to punt.
Stripes
I think this game is winnable as long as the offensive line continues to pass protect. The defense is ass, but I also think Baltimore's offense is less "juggernaut" than it has appeared the last couple of weeks. They're at the high end of a wide degree of offensive variance, and division games break all the rules anyway. I am more concerned about Lamar Jackson running for 150 than Derrick Henry. HoosierCat
Hendrickson: stinger, tests show no nerve damage, Zac noncommittal today about Baltimore but if there are no setbacks this week I would expect him to go. Hill/Rankins: no change, Hill still ahead. BJ did warm up with the team in Carolina but ultimately couldn’t go. I’d say a coin flip for Baltimore. Myles/Jackson: both likely to come off IR this week. volcom69
I keep seeing all these tweets about Jordan Battle, and truthfully I would like to see him play. It’s not like those safeties back there have been great or something. Maybe it’s time to try new things , what they have been doing obviously has not been working
ArmyBengal
I literally have not heard the name Geno Stone since training camp. Actually had to think who was playing next to Vonn Bell.
Stripes
They pretty much benched CTB against Carolina, so I have to believe they'll be willing to go to Battle too if Stone/Bell are continuously falling short. Something has to change.
COB
DJ Reader just got a sack on Geno Smith. Good to see Reader healthy. Ravens -,we have to sell out to stop their running game. If we can force Lamar to throw we can get them into our game. If we let them run, hold the ball, and reduce our number of possessions, that could make it tough on us.
AMPHAR
Given the defenses struggles. I'd to see them a little more aggressive on kick off coverage. I don't like just handing them the 30 with the way this defense bleeds yards. D-line issues are real, but it still doesn't explain pass catchers coming open so quickly, and the poor yards after contact, AND once again horrible angles to the ball. Theyll release Robbins to create one spot on the roster. I am guessing McLachlan will be the other player released. That said, its not clear AFAIK if Myles or McKinley are good to go.....unless i missed an announcement?

Hobs: Quote Taylor says when it comes to Pro Bowl edge rusher Trey Hendrickson (neck), who left with about eight minutes remaining Sunday, it's too early to tell if he can play this week. Same with Rankins and Hill. He does expect edge Myles Murphy (knee) and rookie defensive tackle McKinnley Jackson (knee) to begin work Wednesday to see how close they are to being activated. I say screw that, get him on the field.
AMPHAR
Supposedly Trey was in a sling following the game. It could be precautionary but I think he'll be out this week.
AMPHAR
Bates was great at doing stuff that never ended up in stat sheet. Zac alluded to that as well with Vonn Bell. But chunk passing plays are a problem again, SO what's the deal Lou? You got your vet safeties to make the magic work. This defense was all praise in training camp and preseason. Time to put up or shut up for Lou, IMO.

AMPHAR
Good luck to Robbins but Simmons don't mess around. Maybe Robbins can make rebound similar to Elliot? Simmons is not afraid to push out a kicker even a drafted one. Travis Dorcsh, Elliot, and Robbins. Hopefully new guy can stick for 10 years. I pretty much agree with Sheeran here: https://atozsports.com/nfl/cincinnati-bengals-news/lou-anarumo-starting-vonn-bell-over-jordan-battle-safety/ The deal is that Lou couldn’t re-sign Bell fast enough, then stuffed Battle in a hole and handed Bell the starting job, and four weeks in those decisions have landed enough egg on his face to change his name to Omletrumo. Hopefully it doesn’t take him too much longer to face reality.
COB
I enjoyed reading that. Sheeran kind of repeats himself, but all is forgiven because he described our defense against the Ravens as dealing with: “multiple calamities”
