Tupou, Tufele and Carter all stepping up in the wake of Reader’s injury has been very impressive. DJ’s loss has still been felt but they have really blunted the impact. And with Tupou out Tufele had a hell of a game yesterday. Next man up has been a real thing on the dline so far this year.

Agree with Hoosier that the Falcons aren’t that good and they also had a bunch of injuries going on.

That being said, the Bengals had themselves a very solid game and soundly defeated a team they should have.

Loving what we are seeing with the depth. Lessening my concerns all the time. Hope they keep it up in the coming weeks !!

Always like JT’s breakdowns. That first bomb to Boyd could have easily gone to Higgins with the same result. They were both clear even before the safety fell down, and after that it was a snooze TD for whichever one Burrow threw to.

Not taking anything away from Ossai but you can see Matthew’s turn his head and attention inward which gave Ossai his chance. That being said, he took advantage of that chance and made the most of it.

Enjoy Lou Anarumo while we have him. I can’t imagine he gets through next offseason without head coaching interviews.

I think he’ll get some looks for sure.  Nothing against Lou (doing a great job for us), but if you hire a defensive coach as your HC in today’s nfl, you are stupid.
