Kurt Warner - Study Ball breaks down Joe Burrow week 1.    Great watch if you have time.    My take away in no particular order of importance:

1.  Again, not playing in preseason hurt the bengals.

2. Steelers did a good job moving safeties late making the pre snap read a little more difficult

3. Joe simply wasn't playing good.  Missed some opportunities.   

Kurt's view that 1 INT down the middle was right read, good throw, great play by DB.   Me personally seeing it live and remembering it,  I thought he was late over the middle.  

Saw alot of metrics about OL improving 2nd half.  Maybe they did, maybe they didn't.    Steelers ran the same blitz/coverage the Bengals last 2 plays of the game and they simply couldn't figure out how to block it or Joe wasn't interested in the hot read.  Kurt didn't know who to blame.   Either way bad look and it probably cost them a tie or another opportunity to win.

McPherson flat out missing kicks cannot be overlooked either.
That game reminded me of the Green Bay game last year in the way it ended.
Opportunities for McPherson to seal the game and couldn't shut the door.

I don't see how you can blame mcpherson for those missed kicks.  EP was blocked timing just was not there with wilcox snapping and the FG high snap huber got it down but the laces were pointing straight at mcphersons foot not the ideal kicking process.

That dude should just resign, let his oldest son step in.  Kate Middleton as queen would do a lot to bolster the whole monarchy.  
 

Just simply as an institution, the monarchy has been hemorrhaging credibility for quite a while.  Having Charles as king will further erode the public’s faith in it.  Guy’s a complete stiff and a dullard.  Queen Kate will fix it.  Fuck the Steelers, we’ll crush them in our second go around this season.

With that being said he has always wanted to be king at 76 I think he should just fkoff and let his and Diana's son William take the throne.  You can in royal law refuse the throne but he was never going to.  unfortunately Kate would only be the Queen Consort so not the monarch if William eventually becomes king.

The queues to see the queen lying in state have been horrendous 24 + hours some people are waiting in line but you can guarantee if that becomes Charles it would be a 5 min wait.

My wife follows the royal family. I don’t really get it but she’s always been intrigued. Outside of thinking Kate Middleton is hot for a 40 year old, I don’t give it much thought.

Bengals' better win and play well this weekend or I'm going to be pissed after watching the Browns handle the Stoolers as they should last night. 

Kinda sick of the clown show the Bengals' have going on right now with penalties and sacks on the o-line again.  If that happens again you have to fire somebody and start replacing guys and create some competition and sense of urgency among that group.

4 years of this now and I'm just f'ing sick of watching great talent go to waste because of incompetent coaching and development of one group who is letting the entire time and fan base down every single f'ing year.  Pollack sucks by the way.

Agree with every word of this.  Burrow’s brain can only handle so much.  Literally and figuratively.  The scar tissue is accumulating.  Klinglerization is a possibility, I’m sad to say that.  But this dude has zero time to read anything.
