Can’t stop the run and can’t run it. They found a CB they could exploit and they did first with Tate then with Erickson. It was # 26. I’m not saying anyone associated with the Bengals is “good”. Heck they suck. Its been a loooooong time since I’ve seen a staff go after an advantage like that and adjust to keep doing it. Probably out of necessity but whatever. They couldn’t stop run last year. They haven’t been able to run the ball at all this year even in preseason. They can’t pass protect beyond 3 seconds. That’s a huge hindrance to any scheme and points to what most poster her were saying before TC opened there is a lack of talent. They have to thread the needle and be competitive (1 score games) but not win so they can secure a top 5 pick. Quote
