HoosierCat Posted September 16, 2019 Report Posted September 16, 2019 Well, here’s something to work on this week: Quote
COB Posted September 16, 2019 Report Posted September 16, 2019 We’ve got to buckle down and catch those 1971 Oilers. Quote
Stripes Posted September 16, 2019 Report Posted September 16, 2019 The Barry Sanders Lions make a surprise appearance. Anyway, I have no idea what will happen in Buffalo. It feels easy to say "ass kicking", but we've seen two different teams the first two weeks. Who knows. Quote

Even if they can keep a game close, they're going to lose those, as they did in Seattle - they're always a Panicky Andy pick, fumble or batted-down pass on 3rd down away from losing late in the 4th quarter, or a defensive let-down or big play, holding penalty etc.., Quote

The Bills aren’t anything special, but their two opponents so far have been bad teams, hence 2-0. I think it’s a coin flip. Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 18, 2019 Author Report Posted September 18, 2019 Week 3 and like clockwork the injury report is expanding rapidly. Either Glenn needs to retire or something else is wrong they aren’t telling us. Quote
COB Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 If you sign up to play Tackle for the Bengals, you may as well legally add the initials IR after your name. 1 Quote
Scottishbengal Posted September 19, 2019 Report Posted September 19, 2019 who can say how this game will go, depends which Bengals team will turn up - the Week 1 Valiants or the Week 2 Vaginas ???? Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 19, 2019 Author Report Posted September 19, 2019 Because the injury list can never be too long! Quote
Stripes Posted September 19, 2019 Report Posted September 19, 2019 Always neat when what is already the worst or second-worst unit on the team gets decimated by injuries. Any old AAF offensive linemen waiting for a call? 1 Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted September 20, 2019 Report Posted September 20, 2019 Lol. Who didn't see this coming? Bengals' Joe Mixon frustrated by 1-yard run average https://www.yahoo.com/sports/bengals-joe-mixon-frustrated-1-yard-run-average-220603446--nfl.html Quote

I believe he was on the 5 week concussion protocol - so he's got at least 2 more weeks I think, until he can be cleared. I don't see any players "gutting it out" because they want to play for this team, this year, get a boo-boo, IR here I come. Quote
Passepartout Posted September 21, 2019 Report Posted September 21, 2019 Well need to have a spark to seek out first win! Quote
jonf45uk Posted September 22, 2019 Report Posted September 22, 2019 Things I'd like to see this week: (I'm setting the bar high this week) The RBs rampaging for 30 yards.... Maybe one open field tackle by a LB.... Dre KirkPatrick keeping his penalties to under 100 yards.... Randy Bullock hunted down by a rogue band of Japanese Whale hunters..... 1 Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 22, 2019 Report Posted September 22, 2019 I honestly don’t know what to expect at this point. Do the Bengals from the Seattle or San Fran game show up today ?? On one hand the Bills have a top 10 defense against the run and pass with a 2-0 record. On the other hand they played the Jets and Giants. Neither a win or loss would surprise me in the least. Quote

Stripes Posted September 22, 2019 Report Posted September 22, 2019 I hope I don't have to listen to 80 stories about the Bills' playoff berth we gifted them again. Who cares. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted September 22, 2019 Report Posted September 22, 2019 Pride time for D, Hubbard's strong outside rush forces Allen into a Geno sack. I guess we'll see how quickly the D has to go back on the field. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted September 22, 2019 Report Posted September 22, 2019 Andre Smith strikes yet again. 3 and out. Quote
Stripes Posted September 22, 2019 Report Posted September 22, 2019 The best defensive player in Cincinnati Bengals history makes an early play. Nobody knows how to irritate me like Ross. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted September 22, 2019 Report Posted September 22, 2019 Vigil got absolutely flattened on that 10+ yard run. Quote
volcom69 Posted September 22, 2019 Report Posted September 22, 2019 I remember when they used Eifert a lot more, I wonder why they don't use him. Afraid of getting him hurt I guess. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted September 22, 2019 Report Posted September 22, 2019 Good pressure so far, nice job by Billiings stopping the run, that d-line either makes a play, or it's smooth sailing for offenses it seems. Quote
