Dennard and dre Kirk with key plays so far. 3. Create more with Hill. Go back to the heavy line and grind out first downs. Keep Luck off the field. 4. Mix up the looks on D to keep Luck guessing, like they did to Manning. Quote

Missed a couple throws but guys were blanketed anyhow.D is benefitting from a bunch of dropped passes. If the Colts clean that up this will become a rout, just like the first Steelers game. Also making Boom Herron look like Walter Peyton.Burkhead came to play and Hewitt continues to stand out.Credit to Dennard for the strip, we need more.Nugent makes up for the Carolina miss.Need more of the seven oline plus Hill. Much more.Nice sack there by Geno and Hunt. More please. Need to win in the trenches in the second half. Quote
kingwilly Posted January 4, 2015 Report Posted January 4, 2015 Lack of legit pass rush has been a problem all year. Hunt and Clarke are just guys. Letting MJ go was dumb. Asking Dennard and DreKirk to step up and let Hall walk should have been the business move to assure some pass rush continuity, especially since Atkins effectiveness coming back was a concern. Could this be the time this team gets over the hump? Maybe... Just maybe. Just don't put it all on Dalton. Please. Quote

However, if McCarron and Dalton have similar physical attributes, it will be interesting to see if AJ McCarron's decision making can make a difference. Quote
