gregcook68 Posted January 3, 2014 Report Posted January 3, 2014 Newman doubtful, that sucks, need a lot of pressure on Rivers or could be a big day for him. Lets not give Rivers the time to throw! We didn't have Newman in San Diego Quote
TJJackson Posted January 3, 2014 Report Posted January 3, 2014 We need that mad/drunk alabama chick to rush the passer Quote

EmDiggy Posted January 3, 2014 Report Posted January 3, 2014 [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z710k8rwB5MGood evening Bengals fans! Good luck this week!Em Quote
kingwilly Posted January 3, 2014 Report Posted January 3, 2014 No pollack will play there, with Zietler playing RG.So, assuming Collins is a "go", then its him at LT and Whit at LG.That would be great. Quote
kingwilly Posted January 3, 2014 Report Posted January 3, 2014 Need Gilberry too.We do need Gilberry. The other new guys they've signed can't be expected to make an impact. With Still on IR, they need Gilberry more than ever. Also, whats the deal with Gresham and Eifert? Is this a little bit of sandbagging? or are they legitimately questionable....? Quote
Stripes Posted January 3, 2014 Report Posted January 3, 2014 Both TEs were full go in practice today. I think the chance of them missing the game is tiny. Quote

ShulaSteakhouse Posted January 3, 2014 Report Posted January 3, 2014 Gilberry is doubtful? (after an eye poke?) Lapham said after talking to him Monday on their live show that he thought he'd be ok to play. So that's not good news at all.I think the weather will actually be a neutralizer, covering-up the weak Chargers passing D quite a bit, and making it a close game, and the Chargers beat both KC and Denver this year on the road in sub-40's weather (30's and 20's in KC).This is Freezer Bowl II, 5 degrees out, with some snow expected. The best D and running games win (still a nod to the Bengals' there IMO). Quote
Stripes Posted January 3, 2014 Report Posted January 3, 2014 Gilberry is questionable but was full go in practice, AFAIK. Quote
membengal Posted January 4, 2014 Report Posted January 4, 2014 As for the weather, Winter Storm Watch for Cincinnati. Heavy snow possible during the game, 4-6 inches of accumulations during the daytime.I can't remember the last time the Bengals played a game during heavy snow. Quote
volcom69 Posted January 4, 2014 Report Posted January 4, 2014 Yea Gilberry is ? so hopefully he will play.As far as the weather what a change, just the other day it was temps in the upper 30s that's crazy. As far as the weather goes, Rivers is a very good QB in cold weather games. I do worry about Dalton's arm in a windy game. Quote

jjakq27 Posted January 4, 2014 Report Posted January 4, 2014 I remember going to a couple of games in the LeBeau era where we had snow before the game. Jacksonville in 2000(?) where they shoveled the lines and used orange spray paint to mark the field. It was probably the coldest game at PBS that I've been to. Probably five or ten degrees max and windy. The other was the Scott Mitchell to Danny Farmer TD pass vs the Steelers to win the game maybe the next year. Similar conditions but not as much snow or as cold from what I recall. And the field was still grass turf and cat litter. I do remember a playing the Giants the day after a big snow. They didn't get much of the snow out. People were throwing it in the air after each Bengals. score. So this will probably be a first if we get the weather they are calling for. At first I wanted another shot at Miami but they beat Pittsburgh at Heinz field so they proved that they could play well in the snow. Not sure how SD will cope with it. The weather will be an issue for both teams on Sunday. Quote

If they win and control the game in all phases, I truly see them going to New York next month!WHO DEY!!!! Quote
volcom69 Posted January 4, 2014 Report Posted January 4, 2014 Wow what a great story. There seems to be a lot of leadership in the locker, something this team needed years ago. It's stories like that, that get me excited about this team. Now go out and win your first playoff game as a team! Quote
TJJackson Posted January 4, 2014 Report Posted January 4, 2014 Going to go out on a limb here with a prediction - this will be Hunt's breakout game Quote

membengal Posted January 4, 2014 Report Posted January 4, 2014 Now a winter storm warning for Cincy for heavy snow Sunday, 4-8 inches to fall afternoon and evening. Snow during the game seems very likely. Quote
