Returning to the field after sitting out Tuesday were linebacker Vinny Rey (ankle), right tackle Andre Smith (ankle), cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick (ankle) and tight end Alex Smith (concussion), all listed as limited. Not on the field were tight ends Jermaine Gresham (hamstring) and Tyler Eifert (neck) as well as defensive tackle Devon Still (back) and cornerback Terence Newman (knee). Newman, who has missed the last two games, continues to rehab with an eye to the first playoff game.SAM backer James Harrison (concussion), who went full Tuesday after missing last Sunday's game, was back on the field and full go again.
