Patriots @ Bengals Pregame Chatter

Funny how the Bengals went to Cleveland and played s**tty one week after their "signature" win against Green Bay. I would expect them to bounce back with a better effort against the Pats, except for the fact they never seem to play competitively against Belichik/Brady. With Hall, Kirkpatrick and Ghee (the glass man) out I shudder to think what Brady will do to Newman, Jones, and Chris Lewis-Harris.Our guys are really going to have to step up this Sunday and make plays.

Hall had limited practice on Fri and is doubtful,

Kirkpatrick had limited practice Thurs and Fri and is questionable,

Ghee DNP fri and is doubtful.

Ghee is a liability on this team taking a roster spot from someone who could offer something more. Even if Ghee was the best CB in the league he is contributing nothing if he isn't on the field playing. I bet if he took a dump he'd end up with a thigh strain or a hamstring injury and be out for a month.

I am not expecting a win this week, however if the Bengals performance doesn’t improve from last week’s disaster, this will be the last Bengal game that I watch this season! My heart can’t take it anymore!

The offense has to find ways to sustain drives and put points on the board! Everyone on here is in agreement that we need to run the ball more and that Gio needs to be in the game! Dalton has to start and end strong. Passes need to be to our WR's, not 20 feet over their head or 5 yards behind them. Scramble when you have to and throw the ball away to avoid sacks.

Defense has to shut down the run game and put pressure on Brady all day! Going to be really tough with a beat up secondary.

Looking for a grea Sunday so Bengals, I hope you’re prepared to play a 60 minute game! Who Dey!

Rain, Rain, and more Rain, maybe even some lightening today.

Sounds like a good day to run the ball Gruden, and I would start by handing it off to Gio. To win this game they need to control the clock, I'm hoping Gruden figures that out, and dosnt throw 50 times, 40 of which goes towards Green.

If Hall and MJ are out this week, Bengals lose big.

Ain't it wonderful bein' wrong? :D/>

Never been so pleased in my life.

Like I mentioned in the other thread, Nelson really made a difference being back this week.

Here's to hoping i'm wrong every time I predict a Bengals loss.

For what it's worth, I did take the Bengals in my pick'em league.
