Hell yes. Knows the defense, would be up to speed pronto. May not see the field, then again, the next LB injury could be right around the corner.

Plus, this release seems like a result of a vet signing to make a SB run, that goes down in flames, so bail on the vet and get ready for next year with younger, cheaper, guys. Howard might still have something in the tank. Cut Orson Charles to make room, he's useless.

I would have zero issues with bringing Howard back or Montgomery in to see where his head is at these days.

It would seem that teams are a little leary over the pot incident that he denied and a questionable motor.

Wasn't Geno supposed to have a "questionable motor" in the pre-draft reports ??
