HoosierCat
Hey, gotta start someplace, right? And honestly, you aren't even a little impressed, wraith? I don't ever remember the Bengals signing any pick within two weeks of the draft, other than Carson Palmer No. 1 overall type situations. ArmyBengal
Picks are going to get signed. This hasn't been a problem for the Bengals since the wage cap.If you want something to worry about, wonder if Crocker is staying in shape, you know, just in case... COB
If you want something to worry about, wonder if Crocker is staying in shape, you know, just in case..."So far, things are good. I've actually got it pretty easy. A couple hours a night while he watches Dancing With The Stars. A pretty bad scare a few weeks ago, Andre Smith came over and sat on me for 20 minutes. Extreme blunt force trauma, contusions, and am now suffering PTSD from it. But the conversation they had was worse. Andre wanted to buy me for two hundred bucks, but Chris refused. Thank you God." - Chris Crocker's Couch

TJJackson
Fraggle Rock has signed/>http://cincinnati.com/blogs/bengals/2013/05/09/fragel-tweets-he-has-signed-his-contract/Honestly, there's like a dollar's wiggle room in these rookie contracts under the CBA, makes no sense to me why they aren't signed within a week of the draftAlso - Makes me wonder why any rookie needs an agent - the money is pretty much set in stone, so since your agent is not gonna be able to get you a dollar more, why even have one? Its like giving away a part of your salary for nothing in return

ArmyBengal
I was wondering the same thing.I know the players are going to be looking for their agent to do other things for them, but from a first rounders perspective, why not wait ??Get the money you know you are going to be slotted into, don't give a percentage up to an agent, and then look for one to do more for you later.I'm sure there's more to it than that and I surely don't realize how hard it is to run an NFL agent business. HoosierCat
Total are slotted but there are still guarantees, incentives and escalators to be wrangled over.
TJJackson
There's not much to wrangle over for late rounders in particular.if it is rookie min plus lets say 100k, why let an agent take some of that 100k?
