That's a catch. Game to Baltimore, barring a complete screwup. And an extra quarter of football for our next opponent.

Hoosier it's the regular season, doesn't it end in a tie after one quarter of overtime?

I worry they will come out angry at the game being given away by the refs....since w/o that long play near the end, the game would have been theirs in regulation

Balt wins near the very end of OT on a field goal

The Ravens game really has no bearing on the Bengals playoff chances, but it fun to watch Baltimore struggle.

I have to respectfully disagree

In the sense that we play them week 17, if their playoff spot is set in stone, they will play like it is a preseason gamem and we should have a much easier time winning

On the other hand, if they have something to fight for - either a 1st round bye or for the 1st seed and ergo homefield advantage throughout the playoffs - they will bring a fight

Since every game will count for the Bengals, that week 17 game should be huge for us - and ergo Baltimore's need (or lack thereof) to win said game is huge, and ergo their record has a huge bearing on our playoff chances

I'm happy Baltimore won, we needed the Chargers to lose, pretty much puts them on the outside looking in! Now I hope next week the Chargers have nothing knowing they pretty much screwd themselves.

Yeah, and the Chargers just played all but 1:40 of an extra quarter. I guess reading comprehension isn't your strong suit.

Yeah, we needed Balt to win, but I think we will get a very angry and fired up SD team next week

Oh I hear no doubt they will. Trust me this next game really just worries, because they are going out west, and they don't win very often out there.

Well the Bengals don't often blow out three teams in a row. One of those being the defending Superbowl Champs.

Crazy stuff in a crazy season.

What is up with alot of QBs sporting 1970's style moustaches? Is that style coming back or what lol!

Yup. Even Josh is rocking the pornstache these days.

Lol that is too funny! I just watched a video where he had his beard, so maybe it's his new look! It's so funny, even Palmer had one today!

Palmer wished that he never set foot in Cincy after he last played for the Bengals two seasons ago. Well, never say never Carson!

This might be the first time this season where I actually expect them to keep their focus and do what's needed.

If Marvin Jones isn't ready, I want MORE Sanu.

Talk about calling it! The dude was on fire Sunday. Sure, Green made the long plays but Sanu was there in the clutch. In poker terms these two are a pair to draw to.

Sorry but the way you wrote that, you can construe it either way. From the way you wrote it, barring a complete screw up by Baltimore to kick a winning FG, it will go into an extra overtime period and an even yet more quarter of football. That's the way I saw it, given you put the statement about an extra quarter of football AFTER saying that unless Baltimore screwed up winning the game in overtime. So now you are resorting to insults as well? I thought that was above you, especially being a mod who just closed a thread for doing the same thing and issued a warning to all involved?

When Tommy Kelly was yelling at the Bengals on the sidelines why didn't at least one guy point at the scoreboard? That would have been the icing on the cake for that fight...well unless about 5 guys pointed at the scoreboard, then it would have been hilarious.

Steelers lost - final

How'd the Steelers fumble 8 times (losing 5) and throw 5 picks? And how did all this only leave to a six point Brown victory?

It shows how an awful team can beat a good team. If the Bengals had 5 fumbles lost and 5 interceptions, they would lose by 30+ points to most NFL teams. Great teams can fight through adversity and either win games or keep it close. Young teams and horrible teams have a hard time doing this. The Bengals are starting to learn though, after losing 4 straight games 2 of which were to sub-par teams, they have come out and won three straight. Let's hope this is an attitude adjustment in the locker room, that this team wants to be the predator and not the prey.

Now if only they can continue to play defenses as poor as the Chiefs and Raiders.

The thing I like is when they are playing weak teams now, they aren't just winning, they are blowing them out.

It was only 3 picks, Sea Ray, but yeah. Why? 3rd string QB behind a less-than-average OL against an underrated Browns D

All 4 Steeler running backs fumbled, as I understand it, so I guess the Cleveland D is learning to strip the ball
