I think Marvin's comments only confirm was reported earlier. Lewis feels Andre bulls**tted (bullshat?) them last year in interviews,

Somebody bullsh*tted in a job interview? I DON'T BELIEVE IT.....:o

Yup...and when you don't back up your BS, where do you usually land?

Smith should consider himself lucky.

Why not wait and see? Or is there an advantage I haven't thought of for always having your panties pre-bunched?

Because this is a Bengals message board and it's August. There's little else to do unless you want to post those pictures of Katie Blackburn in lingerie you have under your mattress.

Why do you insist on speaking for Marvin? And why do you always assume he never means what he says?

Because that's how he's dealt with the media since he's been here. Ya gotta learn to read between the lines, man.

Yeah, it's a Bengal messageboard. So take a breath and explain why you're constantly acting like this team had just gone 3-13 or moved to Baltimore?

I won't post them but I will describe the lingerie. First, there's the bra. A fetching little number with a stylish bow tie accent casually placed between two A-cups. And no shoulder straps...because Pumpkie likes the girls to show just a hint of wanton sag.

Next, the panties. Bengal striped of course, and pre-bunched...just the way you like it. Best, the pre-bunched pantie is also a thong with a tiny little string riding up into the area where buttocks would normally be found.

Moving on, our eyes come to rest on the boots. Thigh high rubber waders with triple insulation for those cold nights.

Finally, the hat. A classic fedora from her grandfathers collection completes a look that says..."Slow down boys, this one is built for comfort, not for speed."

Oh, I almost forgot.

She's shaved down there.

You're welcome.

I threw up a little in my mouth and yet I keep wondering if Andre's agent is on the floor with a ball gag and a tight grouping of welts in the shape of her heal. Just threw up again. Classic Blackburn, classic.

They were saying that Andre was working out on the sidelines yesterday and was looking pretty good. I wonder if Marvin will let him back in this week. I would love to see this o-line with him in to see if there is any change. So im keeping my fingers crossed that he is showing Marvin that he wants to work hard to play.

I'm not THAT worried, mostly because I'm not convinced Marvin's velvet broadside was anything more than a coaches motivational tactic. Needed and noted, but perhaps signifying nothing more. Not to mention how there are still three fake games to play. Plenty of time left, or if you prefer....no need to rush.

Sounds like Smith is back on the the practice field finally. Im happy about it, and hope he looks better then Roland and is ready to work hard, and looks good.

If Dre' gets some snaps, stays healthy, and maybe gets into a preseason game, he will factor in.

There's always hope...

.com confirms I wonder if the team broke down and brought him in :P because lack luster run blocking we've seen...or simply he finilly did get his ass in to shape either way I'm happy to see bigDre!

Yeah and with him practicing, he can't be placed on the PUP list either. Here's the blurb...

Right tackle Andre Smith returned to the field for the first time since the playoff game seven months ago on Tuesday afternoon and admitted there was some excitement in the air.

“But the thing to remember is you have to keep working hard,” Smith said.

Before Smith left the locker room for the field, head strength coach Chip Morton shook his hand and spoke to him and, why not? Morton and Smith have been hooked at the hip since the first day of training camp on July 28 when Smith arrived battling foot and weight issues.

With Morton, as well as assistant Jeff Friday and weight-room assistants Carlos Woods and Bill Zenisek overseeing his three workouts a day, head coach Marvin Lewis let Smith hit the field. That now means he’s not eligible to be on the physically unable to perform list. It also means that he’s passed his conditioning test, according to Morton.

“He’s lost a significant amount of weight,” said Morton, who wouldn’t elaborate. “He has a ways to go. But from what we’ve seen in this three-week process, he’s been very committed and worked very hard.”

Published reports said Smith was in the 370-pound range early in camp, but he didn’t look that big Tuesday.

Smith had to deal with February surgery to finish repairing the broken foot that knocked him out of the first 10 games last season. He missed all of the spring camps and hasn’t had chance to work on his technique.

“I feel good. I won’t need too much WD 40,” he said of potential rust.
