Pidge
The refs had zero influence on the outcome of the game. Us being a better team than the Ravens did. What an emotionally crippled bunch of whining bitches.
COB
Then of course, the need to replace the incredible, super duper emotional and spiritual ninja warrior samurai leader Ray. I think Harbaugh won't have the guts to pull the trigger on Ray. It'll be like all the folks in Happy Valley who lacked the spine to fire JoPa after his 4th straight losing season a few years ago. So it is my hope that they keep Ray in the middle, he keeps deteriorating, and we just keep running the ball on them. For years to come. We must tell the guards to shield Ray on our running plays in the future, lest he get hurt and have to retire. They could just pick him up and gently place him down on the sidelines where his frail body would be safe.

Sea Ray
They won both of their challenges. I don't know what they have to complain about. The refs didn't cause them to get beat at the line of scrimmage

membengal
Some VERY early show on 105.7 before 6:00 am and the host has just had to admit that the Bengals are the better team. Also noting that Reed and Lewis are missing tackles and that the Ravens D is not what it used to be and what they thought it was.A community grief session looks to be under way. Looking forward to Ravens roundtable on 1300 at 7:00 am and the f**ktacular Rob Long at 8:00 am on 1370 for the initial takes given, especially in Long's case, the confidence heading into this game. membengal
Oh sweet jeebus, the first two callers in the 6:00 am hour on the Ed Norris show on 105.7 complaining about the officials. This is a fanbase in serious denial. It is almost too sweet for me to properly enjoy. But I will drink it all in anyway...
membengal
Hey! A caller that admits the Bengals are the better team "right now". Baby steps. Also admits they got beat up on both sides of the line.
membengal
The wake is underway over on 1300. Bruce Laird, former Colt, on the Bengals, "I underestimated this team",
membengal
Mike Preston, Sun columnist, on 1300 regarding the Ravens: "If they play a team that doesn't have a good qb and running back, they have a chance."Heh.
membengal
They are currently making Jim Mora "Playoffs? You talking playoffs?" jokes on 1300.This is frickin' glorious.
membengal
Rob Long is almost in physical pain on 1370 to start his show. That's what happens when you so completely dismiss a team like he did before each of the last two Bengals games. He also spent ten minutes complaing about Hauschka with a guest host. Yeah. Because that's where Baltimore's troubles solely lie. With their kicker.

How could you be so classless as to come in here and gloat? You guys are barely above .500 anyway."So precious. I don't know how I'll react after we beat down the squealers this week. who dey gents

membengal
A succession of rather sane callers has taken to the air on 1370 on the Rob Long show.A sample:"Bengals are better.""Bengals made us look old.""We have age issues and roster problems.""Look at the plays their receivers make."Rob Long cannot be easily knocked off his this-is-laregly-on-Hauschka stance though... membengal
Rob Long refusing to believe that personnel is an issue on the Baltimore defense and refuses to join in the "blame game". Whatever that means. He also won't blame the coaching. To call him a fence-sitter does not do this justice.Hey, Rob. Key parts of your team are o.l.d. Old.The Bengals didn't just win in the trenches yesterday, they were also the faster team on that field. All over the place.
membengal
On the Mark Viviano show on 105.7, this from Viviano:"What is your neighborhood if you are a Ravens fan? Jags 4-4. Texans. Jets. That's your group. That might be painful, but that's reality."
COB
I'm almost fixated on beating teams like the Ravens and Steelers in exactly the same ways that have made them winners.Headline over the game story in today's Columbus Dispatch: "A Ravens-style win". Inside the story Reedy said, "they beat Baltimore at its own game." Also, Ray was was nowhere to be found in the locker room by those seeking comment on the Bengals rushing game. membengal
Ray's silence in the face of another big division loss is drawing some raised eyebrows and comment among callers. The new thing developing this morning among callers is the dawning realization that the Ravens secondary is trash and that they have potentially wasted a LOT of money on Fabian Washington and others. Having two first round picks at CB is a rather nice thing for Cincy at this point...
