COB
CARDINALS - WinUhh... Bad news. Warner was 26 for 36 against the 6-3 Lions yesterday. 259 yards, three touchdowns in a 31-21 win. Ok, so their offense played great, maybe their defense sucks, right? Wrong. Karlos Dansby is tearing it up, two picks yesterday, and Cardinals D held Detroit to -18 rushing yards. That was the strongest defense against the rush in like 50 years in the NFL. Our Bengals face a very tough test.

The Bengals have a notorious skinflint owner in Mike Brown, the Cardinals have a notorious skinflint owner in Bill Bidwell, and both teams possess the same number of Lombardi Super Bowl Championship Trophys. Ænigma
I would love to agree with you, Finishing 10-6 would make me happy the rest of the year. But seeing how the team is playing right now. I highly doubt we finish 10-6. Give me a couple of wins Cincy and ill change my mind.Go Bengls. COB
Bidwell is much worse than Brown. Bidwell anally penetrated the whole St. Louis fanbase. Mike Brown tries to bring a winning team to his customers. Bidwell kicks his customers in the nuts. I always read how Brown's the worst owner in sports. How about the Ford family? Matt Millen somehow can't get fired. Oh wait, the Lions are finally playing well so Ford must know what he's doing at long last. Do some research on the idiot that owns the Los Angeles Clippers. Then tell me Mike Brown is the worst owner in sports. HE'S ONLY THE 5TH or 6TH WORST OWNER!!

lscore
I'm a Cards fan, too. I have perused your board here a little, and I can say that I sympathize with you guys and your frustration with the ownership. Bidwill is notorious for being cheap, but I don't know if that reputation is deserved any longer. Ever since they moved to the Valley back in the 80s, they had to play at Sun Devil Stadium. Being an ASU alumn, I can tell you that there is a very good reason why ASU plays all their home games at night - the stadium is awful in the day. The Cards had a hard time drawing fans when it's 100+ degress with no shade, and the seats are all metal benches. The new stadium is way more comfortable and all the games are sold out. Plus, Bill Bidwill has pretty much handed over the reigns to Michael Bidwill, and he seems intent on changing the Cards reputation. As far as this game on Sunday goes....The Cards are dominant at home. On the road, it's anybody's guess how they will play. This team loves to commit penalties and give the ball away. Also, coach Whizenhunt seems to give up on the run too quickly and go to the air. Our defense's chief weakness is against the pass, especially over the middle. With the Bengal's QB and WRs, it can get ugly. At 3-6, the Bengals know that they have to win this game. I don't know if the Cards will have the same intensity, given that no matter how poorly we've been playing, Seattle has been almost as bad, and we are still in the playoff hunt, even if we lose to Cinci. Here's to a good game this weekend

We've never had a single Cardinal fan here before, and now we get two in one day. Welcome Lou. I live in Prescott Arizona, (about 1 & 1/2 hours north of Phoenix) and consequently follow the Cardinals quite closely, and usually root for them, but not so much this week. You know how it is... Anyway thanks for chiming in here, and welcome!

I have heard good things about Bill's son Michael. He does seem intent on changing his Father's ways. I hope it works out for them like it did for the Irsays. As sad as it is, we can only hope that Mike Brown turns things over to Katie soon. OUCH!Good luck.....except for this week. I actually followed the Cardinals when they were in St. Louis. My first football heroes were Jim Hart, Terry Metcalf, Mel Gray, Pat Tilley, Dan Dierdorf, Tom Banks, Conrad Dobler, JV Caine..... then later Jetstream Green, Neil Lomax, O.J. Anderson, Stump Mitchell...I believe they made the playoffs all of one year (strike year) that entire time. It's me fellas. I am cursed! I learned from week 1.Going in to Baltimore, taking away the ball 6 times and basically leading the whole game would give me some confidence, too. What is the deal with the Bengals this year? I know you guys have had a bunch of injuries, and Henry was suspended, but, still, I thought the Benglals would be a lot better than they are. I know you guys have had a bunch of injuries, and Henry was suspended, but, still, I thought the Benglals would be a lot better than they are.We all here did too. Personally I blame much of this on some baltant coaching mistakes. Poor schemes, ultra-predictable play calling, multiple failures of getting the proper number of players on the field in critical situations...the list goes on. I see some of the members are mostly concerned about the Steelers, come on over to the Cardinals forum and we can give you pointers on beating them.I noticed you made a post stating you are from Prescott, Az.I live in Lake Havasu City, Az. That is about 2 hours south of Las vegas.I'm actually not from Prescott. I just happen to live there now. I was born and raised in northern Kentucky. About 15 minutes up I-75 to the Bengals home, Paul Brown Stadium. As far as Lake Havasu City, I've been through there a few times while on Bass fishing trips. I caught quite a few out of there. BTW, do you enjoy all the spring break parties that take place there?
typaige
Sorry, living in prescott counts as both for me. I've pulled some classic Abbott and Costello type antics with that.As far as me enjoying parties in havasu? I help start the parties. Been on MTV.. Performed on E! Channel. I stay away from Court TV. Thanksgiving and X-mas get wild out here (college gurls return home and bring freinds)Back to football.. I didn't support Az until 1994.. when they changed their name. I'm hopin' Raxckers gets a couple field goals for the old hometown crowd.
