ShulaSteakhouse Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 From Hobson:Tab Perry, the leading candidate to be the Bengals' third wide receiver, insists he's fine and will be back in a few days. But he's causing much concern as he heads to Nashville Thursday to be checked by hip specialist Dr. Thomas Byrd after he says he had a MRI. Plus, the Bengals lost their third tight end in three days with Tim Day ticketed for arthroscopic knee surgery Friday and will be on the shelf for "a couple of weeks," according to head coach Marvin Lewis. And another wide receiver, Glenn Holt, went into the locker room with a strained hamstring during Monday night's practice on Fireworks Night at Georgetown College before an estimated crowd of 4,000. "I don't know if we cut back on reps or what, but I'm sure Marvin will figure something out," said offensive coordinator Bob Bratkowski. Quote

CJBestInAFC Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 I was watching NFL network and they had a peek at Ravens training camp and watched their oline get run over by their defense. I hope their oline is bad this year. Quote

bengal4life Posted August 2, 2007 Report Posted August 2, 2007 If Tab is hurt again, that really hurts our safety depth.Hee.I'm trying to figure this out too. The only time I've heard Tab ever being listed as a possible safety was in his rookie year and maybe shortly after but that got shut down real fast. Quote

membengal Posted August 4, 2007 Report Posted August 4, 2007 By the way, one of the highlights last night? Some guy took eight kids (around ages 9 -11 I'd say) from the autograph line and played "steady qb" in a 4 on 4 game on the field for about 35 minutes in the heat before the practice began while the crowd encouraged the kids.Absolutely awesome for them. And fun for the crowd.Oh, the guy that did that? Tab Perry. One of the nicest things I have seen a football player do. Those kids will remember that the rest of their lives. Quote
