  1. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS a pass rushing 3TDT
  2. Good chance we got a New Guy discount, then I hope we get contract details soon
  3. if he can remain healthy, yeah here's to hoping his contract is incentivized primarily on health it does sounds like me might have gotten a New Guy discount here, but we wont know til we see contract details
  4. another oft-injured guy.........well, he should be good as long as he stays healthy hopefully he'll be able to do that here
  5. wait.....do you know the muffin man? you had him pressure wash your sidewalk, didnt you,,,,,,,
  6. Not being sour at all, actually a player with bigtime injury history like this should get a contract that provides incentives for health I'd still like to sign both Apple and Flowers even after this signing
  7. hopefully it is a vetmin contract with incentives for starting or playing time
  8. possibly the worst mock I've seen https://www.cincyjungle.com/2023/3/27/23653028/bengals-mock-draft-jonah-williams-trade-jags-picks-2023-jaguars
  9. we do at least know that Captain America can catch now if he can block........
  10. the first bag of crack is free bags after that, tho.......
  11. Yeah, it has to be a reduction, not moving money into future years. I think 7-8M is still not enough of a reduction, but yeah, that'd still help I suppose I would prefer this option over the others if the money was around 5.5M plus performance incentives (that would optimally include some measure of successful pass blocking) maxxing at perhaps 2-3M, but honestly I dont think Mixon would accept even a dollar being cut from his pay But....would you make the new pay-cut replacement contract a one year contract to replace the two years he has remaining as things stand, or do a 2 year contract @ 7M per year?
  12. so if I have this right, Option 1: we keep him. The cost of RB1 is 12.7M Option 2: we toss him. The cost of RB1 is new RB cost plus 5.5 M, which means that if said new RB1 costs 7.2M or more, our costs actually go up Option 3, we toss him with a June 1 release designation. The 5.5M dead money hit is evenly divided between 2023 and 2024, at 2.75M each Is there an option 4? I dont see a trade as even remotely possible. I guess I prefer Option 3 I would like to see them bring in a veteran RB who can catch and block, and of course, no matter what option they go with. I really dont want to draft a RB high unless some absolute superstar falls to us in r3 or later, but even then I'd prefer a 3 down TE.
  13. I am sensing sarcasm
  14. wheres mah pass rush, sonny boy?
  15. They need to reduce the cap hit at the RB1 spot to about 4M I would presume all a restructuring would do is give Mixon the same or more money but later, which would just delay the issue rather than solve it if Mixon is willing to toss his existing contract and take a huge pay cut, that'd be fine, but I dont see that happening, which means the only way to go is to release him He can certainly still play and he could still contribute to the team......but not at his current price. Thats really the only problem: the price.
  16. If they sign him for more than 2M non guaranteed, I will be pissed I dont think he has much left to give
  17. indeed it would WR my ass :-)
  18. Just gimme one who can block AND catch equally well a complete 3 down TE Instead of drafting 2, I'd rather they bring in at least one of Wilcox or Sample as the TE2/TE3 on vetmin deals as they already know the offense and special teams
  19. sadly, yes
  20. so will the Reds win 50 games this year? 40?
  21. I dont want a player protecting New Guy who doesnt want to be here
  22. Im hoping you didnt miss the part where they added a pro bowl wr?
  23. Bengals roster has 3 TEs currently..... one is Asiasi the other two are futures contract guys, ie practice squad players
  24. dammit, the Browns got a pro bowl WR for a pick swap dammit dammit dammit
