  1. I cant get broadcast tv in anderson, even with a powered up hd antenna
  2. trying to figure out how to watch this game itd be nice to actually watch one
  3. Yes indeed......if we win tonight, we own the AFCN number 1 spot outright L E T S G O O O O O O O O O (thats go, not goo, btw) :-)
  4. Cmon Chargers, hold on dudes! Steelers are but certain to lose in a blowout, Chargers up on Browns b 2 with 2 and a half left to play
  5. I get that CTB was active, but getting snaps as a pretend "Lamar Jackson" isnt getting him ready to play CB that said, this isnt a slam on him.....I am amazed how fast he got activated. I really am.
  6. Thanks Joisey :-) OK, so there's the backup NT :-) Shelvin has a L O T to prove. other than one good play in the Superbowl, he just seems to be pushed around like a giant blimp Thats a crazy fast return for CTB. wow. Like they had a three week window to activate him, and here he's active after like what, 3 days? after not practicing for weeks? put me down for a dollar that Shelvin gets 10 or less snaps and another on CTB not getting any snaps at all unless either a. two or more corners get injured, or b. its a blowout (either way) by the start of Q4
  7. Tufele is waaaaaayyyy underweight for a NT tho, and he got no snaps last week even with Reader out
  8. Excuses will be made whether we care about those excuses or not :-) that aside, I am very very surprised that they didnt bring in anyone to take Reader's spot. I dont think they even tried anyone out. wtf dudes? Yeah, youre not gonna find another Reader, but you still need more than one NT on the roster No roster addition to fill the hole at TE with Sample to IR as well again, WTF DUDES
  9. If there is a special pass rusher, especially on the interior, or a blue chip 3 down TE, I cant see us going RB in r1 I say that while fully acknowledging that Mixon has been a disappointment so far on the field the big worry initially with Mixon is he'd be an off the field nightmare, but I have to mention he's been a solid citizen.....but still, that doesnt move the chains Id only want a rb in r1 is he is the second coming of Barry Sanders
  10. I am feeling good because not only does the D continue to play well, even against a top offense, and good D travels well, but the OLine is really starting to put together some good snaps. I'd feel better if the OLine was doing a better job runblocking, or Mixon was running better. But compared to the first 2 weeks, I am much more confident about this next game I am a little worried about Shooter's groin. It feels wrong to think about or talk about another guys groin, hehe, but it did show up on the injury report Would it hurt to give Dax some snaps? I want to see what our 2023 starter looks like.
  11. should have been our boy Vonn https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/10/05/jordan-poyer-named-afc-defensive-player-of-the-week/
  12. I heard the announcement that Cam Taylor-Britt was cleared for practice today this made me realize that I had completely forgotten about him when I said CB was the most likely r1 pick for 2023 my bad anyway, I guess we will see over the next few weeks if he has what it takes to be a starter, or if he is the second coming of the Mr Glass ie Brandon Ghee. so far, albeit its very early in his career, looking more like the latter btw, Dax is healthy and mostly not playing. If the other safety we drafted were healthy, would he even be in the 53?
  13. The problem with Ossai's production has been in part because a big percentage of the snaps they have given him have come at DT rather than at his natural DE spot If he starts to get more rotation time with Henderson or Hubbard at DE, I suspect we'll see more production from him and the H Boys Aitch Team (who will be more fresh)
  14. Carman will most likely get the same chances as Price and Ogbuehi when he is finally let go here Kinda shows how desperate the NFL is for OLs Now I will say Billy did have a few good games here and there. I recall him getting a game ball at one point.
  15. quite honestly, tho, the Superbowl window is still open.....they should look hard at players on the trading block that could provide immediate and strong team improvement before the trading deadline Im not saying I have any identified, just that they should keep their eyes open this year and next
  16. I look at the 1, 2, 3, and 4 picks as needing to potentially be starters since we do have those large contracts to do, like you said we need some rookie starters to achieve the savings needed to resign those absolute stars
  17. I want them decaled to say "your ass goes here" that ok?
  18. way too early, yet I'll talk about it anyway The first four picks as I see it should come from (in no particular order) TE - I like what Hayden Hurst is saying, and I hope he signs a 3-4 year extension before the draft. If he does, this position can wait til later rounds for depth. If he doesnt, they need to go TE early DT - Similar to the above, kinda depends on where DJ Reader stands at years end. Yes, I know he's signed through 2023. I love DJ. Hope he extends. If he doesnt, they need a baller at NT, preferably one who can help the pass rush a bit. An absolute stud 3 down DT would be wonderful CB - I like Apple a lot better than I did before he became a Bengals. he's resurrected his career here. I think he'll ask for elite CB money. He's good but not elite. We probably are losing our TE-covering CB as well. We need to look for a starting quality CB. This probably needs to be the R1 pick LB - Germain Pratt is a FA after 2022, and unless he wants to sign for fairly team-friendly money I think we lose him, although I think he is very underrated and will hate to lose him. Have to save money to extend Wilson, though ---- so TJ, no OLs? WTF dude? well, injuries could change this, but with the OL settling down this past week I think the OLine we have is finally earning the big money they were paid. We need depth at all 3 spots, especially OC, but those guys can be picked up in R5 or later

  20. Random neurologist: "uhm fellas? that was sarcasm" NFL: "you're fired"
  21. I think since the Browns have a division victory they are in first by tiebreaker ...I think... but its still a damn good day to be a BENGALS fan :-) D Reader: get well soon dude!
