  1. Glad that’s been resolved before camp got too far into it…
  2. Other teams and fans have nothing but bad things to say about Burrow's contract. They are simply hoping the Bengals won't be able to do anything else. Those teams and fans only wish they had a QB capable of actually winning a Super Bowl. I would rather be in a position of having to pay one of the best QB's in the league than having to figure out if we had a QB that will be a long term solution. Fuck those guys !!
  3. His fate was sealed with the late game punt right down the middle of the fucking field in the AFCCG.
  4. He knows he lost the starting job and maybe a roster spot so who cares ?
  5. Well the Reds finally get a win over the Brewers. They take a 4 run lead into the 9th inning only to have it cut to 4-3. Half a game back with the last game of the series happening this afternoon.
  6. Yeah, kind of where I'm at. "Everyone" certainly has to have a limit. I think Boyd is on the wrong side of that limit. The Charlie Jones pick is their stab to cover that loss. He will be 29 toward the beginning of next season and still have at least another 3 year deal to expect. It wouldn't surprise me to see his contract exceed his last 4 year deal despite closing in on 30. Couple that with massive deals for both Higgins and Chase and it gets dicey at the WR position. Maybe I'm looking at it wrong and they find a way. God knows that would not upset me a bit. Tyler Boyd is a Cincinnati Bengal through and through. Love that dude.
  7. They will obviously being paying Joe more than Herbert and Joe is saying they think they will be able to keep everyone. I am VERY interested to see how they are going to structure his deal to make that happen. I don't have a reason to doubt him, but his confidence in this matter intrigues me greatly. Make it happen front office !!!
  8. Game on. Get above that and move on.
  9. I saw that Norwell was released and thought the same thing TJ. Don’t know if he beats out the other OG’s at this point but worth the look for sure. It would be a good story !!
  10. I can't stand that dude either. Not like his absence is going to hurt Michigan against those initial teams on the schedule.
  11. At least he's still hitting up games and shit at 88. We should all be that fortunate !!
  12. I have no issue with that line of thought either.
  13. There is a whole thread on a Ravens forum dedicated to Mike Brown calling players hogs. Really? That's what's stirring up the football world at this point. An analogy? Are the players upset? Are they threatening a hold out over this? Or are they getting ready for another Super Bowl run? But hey, lets continue the narrative of Mike Brown being cheap as a way of explaining the analogy he used. That sounds like a good use of time.
  14. Nothing says "upgrades" like increasing the likelihood of intoxicated fans. I do like the graphics though and think more should be done in that regard. Maybe they do this, maybe they don't, but I would like to see them put a package together that if you buy either season tickets or the multigame packages of tickets, you could get some kind of advanced ticket option for future concert events at Paul Brown Stadium. If they do this already, then disregard. I wasn't aware that you couldn't simply get on a waitlist for club level season tickets. You have to have season tickets typically starting in the uppers. After a few years, upgrade to the endzone, after a few years, upgrade to the sidelines in the lower bowl, after a few more years, maybe you get a chance at club level seats, maybe not. So "maybe" in 10 years you get the chance at those tickets. I just didn't know that's how they did that.
  15. So much for all these RB's getting together and "solving" the problem facing their position within the league. Lets keep that group away from addressing real problems facing this country.
  16. Time for that team to be able to move on from all the nonsense and get back to football. Their fanbase has been highjacked for far too long.
  17. More aggressive and I usually don't care for women who attempt this style, but this crushes !! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H2dcpBhpxtM
  18. Saw where Gardner-Johnson's knee injury isn't season ending. Happy for him.
  19. I think that's wrong. I think it's 100% of the signing bonus is paid up front.
  20. Only so many bottles of Gatorade you can hand out for free.
  21. Now we have someone upset in the comments because he used the word "hogs" to make his analogy. Jesus... if hogs was the worst word I have been called in my life, I would consider that a huge win. That aside, it goes back to that saying of, "You can't pay everyone". For anyone not following, the team has already experienced this. Jessie Bates, Vonn Bell, Hayden Hurst and Samaje Perrine all left this year alone. Every team (especially the good ones) goes through this. Our Bengals will be no exception. Honestly though, we haven't had players of this caliber, needing market setting deals in some time. I will be curiously waiting to see how the team handles it moving forward. God knows their philosophy has already changed dramatically.
  22. I actually like Tobin's approach. Keep asking me and I'm going to keep saying the same thing. I'm glad this isn't a back and forth in the media. It will get done and we will move on from there. No worries from my standpoint.
  23. So on the o-line I guess D'Ante Smith's time has run out and FA Cody Ford gets the axe. There are going to be some solid depth guys from the D-line that won't make this team. I honestly don't remember, did they only carry 4 LB's last year? Seems thin, but whatever. Sidney Jones is a CB and if they carry him that way, he makes it over DJ Ivey (practice squad) and allows them to keep Tycen Anderson. Or maybe Anderson just isn't healthy still? Maybe Jones as well? I've been out of the loop for the last 4-5 days, so playing a little catch up.
  24. I really do hate to see that for any player regardless of the team. Maybe he just tweaked it hard and he won't miss the whole dang season. We talked about him here.
  25. Thankfully him not being able to pitch has no bearing on him tackling the shit out of someone !! That being said, he’s no worse than some of the pitching I’ve seen from the Reds !!
