  1. Then never mind about my previous...
  2. Only if there's something in his contract directing him to eat any Steelers, Browns or Ravens fan that shows up to PayJoe stadium on game day.
  3. Well, to be fair, if they aren't going to blow the season up and work on a higher draft pick, seeing Browning blow up would be the next best problem to have. Even if they don't decide to trade him in that unlikely scenario, it would certainly be nice to know we have a capable backup moving forward.
  4. It’s easy to dismiss the team without Burrow (God knows I do) and complain about how poor they play at times. However, this team has quality wins over Buffalo, San Fran, and now a Jags team that is fighting for the #1 seed. It’s neither as good or bad as people make it out to be. Keep getting youngsters playing time and see how it all plays out.
  5. Browning from last night? Bengals win. Browning from the week before? Colts win. I'm thinking the Bengals win this one playing at home.
  6. Wow hard to be mad at Browning for that performance. Wasn't expecting that and certainly not against a team playing for the #1 seed.
  7. I just think they are at another fork with the o-line as well. Obviously, there's drama with Jonah. While he has played well at RT, which I had no doubt of, I am not sure he wants to stay at RT. Even if he did, he's going to want to get paid. Not sure the Bengals will want to do that either. Then there's what to do with Volson. While everyone with the team seems to be of the mindset that he will continue to get better, I am no longer sold on that concept. I say, fire Pollack, bring in a new o-line coach and let them start working on it. Pollack has been given enough time and resources. We can't keep doing the same thing waiting for it to get better. The higher the Bengals pick gets, the more interesting the players available become. Again, I just can't help but think there aren't many times where a team with an elite talent at QB is picking in the top 10. Stick with Browning and keep this train rolling to that goal !!!
  8. I'm going to bed as soon as I am able tonight. Might catch a little, but might not catch any. I have Christmas lights that have gone out and need my attention. Where's Andre Smith when you really need him?
  9. Yep, did another one real quick and it was equally interesting. Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia Cooper Beebe, OG, Kansas State Tyler Guyton, OT, Oklahoma Kris Jenkins, DT, Michigan A bunch of linemen for TJ and an elite TE prospect. Yes please.
  10. I think McCarron gives them a better chance to win to be honest. That being said, I hope they keep his ass right on the bench. Do something productive like pointing out your wife to the camera man AJ !!
  11. Nothing against Brown or the other guys at those spots and hope to see more of them, but we are going to lose players at those spots. Iosivas is no Tee Higgins, so another big body guy (The 6'6 Wilson covers that) in the mid rounds would work for me. Jones seems like Boyd's replacement to me. That being said, I agree they both need to be getting more playing time at this point. The big RB helps more with the loss of Perine in my opinion. While I like Brown and want to see him get snaps as well, another RB will be needed. This guy is fast for his size, can block and pass catch. You don't see many big boy RB's these days and it wouldn't bother me to have one. Mixon is heading into his last season as well, so there's that. Again, I would have no issue if instead they took a DT, CB, TE or some other spot, but these were the guys staring me in the face. Honestly, I think the team is going to end up with their hands full in replacing guys moving forward anyway. I'm sure if I did the mock again, it would present something totally different again. I was just curious more than anything. GO JAGS !!!
  12. Just did a mock this morning to see what happened and got a heavy offensive draft. At least through 4 rounds. #13. JC Latham, OT, Alabama (New starting RT since Jonah leaves) #45. Donovan Jackson, OG, Ohio State (New starting LG since Volson's regressing) #77. Raheim Sanders, RB, Arkansas (6'2, 240lb RB who is fast and can catch, but coming off injury) #109. Johnny Wilson, WR, Florida State (New starting WR since Tee leaves) While I am well aware of the need on the other side of the ball, I really liked what was sitting on the board in these players. Obviously in this scenario, DJ will need to be brought back and the team would need to work free agency for fillers. With JaMarr's deal coming due, they face some real challenges.
  13. Might be the greatest fight song ever… LMAO !!
  14. For the record, Godzilla vs. Kong was a great flick. Not sure how many buildings Hong Kong has, but there was enough destruction for an eternity with the last fight. The robot Godzilla was badass !!
  15. Oh yeah… Jaguars. Go Jags !!
  16. Ok Netflix has Godzilla vs Kong from 2021. Maybe I will go back to the well one more time. I liked Kong Skull Island, so again, this is something that should speak to me… right?
  17. Seriously, I just watched Godzilla, King of Monsters last week. Fucking sucked. Complete waste of my time and yet everything about that movie screams something I should enjoy. I’m broken…
  18. I want to like those movies. I really do. I mean what’s not to like? Monsters, explosions, epic destruction, etc, etc… I just can’t get into it… Where’s my motivation here?
  19. I have tried and tried ever since I was young, up through even a week ago, to watch Godzilla and no matter how much I try I can’t get over how corny that shit is. Sorry, just not my thing. For those of you that do, enjoy !!
  20. Bring on Mr. Webb !!
  21. I wish I could get paid that much money and continually suck as much as Hue has as a head coach. Don't know why I didn't pursue the career path of shitty head coach of a football team. Who knew so much money could be had in the suckage field of work ??
  22. Well, at least they are making effort to bolster a weakness.
  23. Lets be honest, they could have signed the guy who played Fish on Barney Miller (yeah I'm old too) and improved that bullpen. I like this signing for sure. They need more work on the pitching though. Starters and relievers. I'm now in agreement with trading Jonathan India if it means getting a starting pitcher one way or another. Just looked and Abe Vigoda died like 7 years ago. Sadly he still might be an improvement...
  24. Give me a 5th round rookie QB that can hold the clip board and learn from Burrow. I said this going into last year and will say it again. Give me the guy who can make plays with his legs. Opposing defenses will have to make changes to account for that and change up their approach to account. If a play breaks down, he's not going to just sit in the pocket and die in place. Unfortunately, there aren't many guys like that in the upcoming draft in the later rounds.
  25. Hey Jags... welcome to the board. I was just down in Jacksonville a couple months ago and went by the stadium. Got some cool pics with my kids head in the mouth of the Jaguar statue out front. Then some angry dude came by and told me I can't do that. Anyway, had a good time. You should like your chances in this game and there really isn't much to discuss honestly. No Burrow = losing for our beloved Bengals. That's really the beginning and end of the conversation. Jake Browning is lucky to lead a turd out of his ass. Burrow = contending for Super Bowl. Browning = circling the Toilet Bowl. At least we will look cool in our white helmets !!
