Zac Taylor Extended Through 2026

Recommended Posts

ZT has created a winning culture.  Deserved the extension, kicked ass during a prove it year.

Malik says that LouA and BrianC agreed to similar extensions a few weeks back. I would expect that to be announced/confirmed in the next few days too.

Good news on ZT.

So per Schefter Miami DBs coach Charles Burks is coming to Cincy in a “similar role.”

Also a report that’s been bouncing around for a couple days that Wyoming OL coach Derek Frazier, who has coached with Polkack in the past, is headed here.

Pollack getting help with the o-line ??

I’ll take that as a positive.

I think it’s a replacement.  He had an assistant that left I think. Also Bengals use McNally (Munoz line coach) as a scout and film guy.

Rapoport:

#49ers senior defensive assistant James Bettcher is expected to fill the vacant LBs job with the #Bengals, sources tell me and @TomPelissero. A strong addition in Cincy.

Morrison:

Bettcher was Anarumo’s boss as defensive coordinator with the Giants in 2018. He previously was the DC for 3 seasons in Arizona. Strong addition for the #Bengals

That's a bonus third coach on OL. Progress.

We could be trendsetters by designating a coach to each lateral level. Tackles coach, guards coach, centers coach

Give the water boys and placekicker tee retrievers coaches as well. Whatever it takes to get back to the Super Bowl in 2022. I want to take that ride again sooner than 33 years.
