Ed Reed!!!!!!!!!!!!&#3

I know that Reed is a free agent next year..Maybe Marvin and Ed are tight and he's visiting him..Maybe the Bengals will sign Kitna and turn around and trade him for Reed....??? Who knows. But I was checking the Ravens board and didn't find anything except that a lot of Ravens fans feel that he can't cut it anymore and that he's overpaid. One thing we do know is that the Bengals will be active in the FA market(as long as Mike Brown makes good offers)so we can at least look forward to that.

Well, we'll see. <_< You'd be surprised -- or if you've been reading bengals.com for a few seasons, maybe not -- at how fast Hobson can make that $16 million in cap space vanish. A few million for RFA tenders, a few million more for the rookie pool, extend one of our OTs, a "prudent" reserve against injuries in the season...poof! It's gone & we haven't even reached March 1.

I'm hopeful...but I ain't gettin' my hopes up.

Reed isn't coming to Cincy....

HOWEVER...

There is a rumor going around that Ray Ray has called the Bengals twice in the past week about possibly coming to Cinci. Again, a rumor.

Not a fan of bringing guys we all hate to the Bengals... but he just might bring the swagger that unit needs. That said... it's going to cost more just because of his name... so since he's a Raven, and he will carry a price tag, I say no thanks.

And in today's edition of land of the obvious, a few more are clued into the fact that Cincinnati is a Delta hub, and many, many, many flights connect through Northern Kentucky, carrying their passengers on to various other airports.

RAY LEWIS IS NOT COMING TO THE BENGALS!!! IT'S NOT POSSIBLE!!!

So we would then have three interchangable MLBs; the real Ray, the next Ray (Nate Webster) and lil Ray (Odell). Maybe we could go to a 2-5 defense, since we get no pass rush from our front line anyway.
