redsfan2 Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 Owens .. Rosenhause ( sp ? ) and a host of others apologized to everyone and everything in sight and then showed the note from T.O.'s Mom. Not enoough for the Eagles. He's done they say, and will not be returning to the Eagles.Bring T.O. to Cincinnati and who has a better passing game than us ???????? Every play ... him and CJ on the field at the same time ????? T.O. CJ. And T.J. with Perry in the backfield ???????? That's just sick. The opponenets D would need about 30 guys on the field to defense that. What do you guys think ???????? Bring him in tonight ??? We got a bye to get him ready for the Colts.Ya know ya want to ! Quote

He'll end up a Falcon next year. I'm just glad that he and that snake agent of his had to come back crawling to the Eagles. Why sure we'll take ya back TO.....PSYCHE! This is the best possible scenario as far as the potential Chad problem regarding his contract. Quote

duus Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 No thanks. That might just be the one move that would force this fan away. Cancer is cancer. No thanks. Quote
Ox Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 Yea no thanks. Although it would be funny to see what smack he and CJ could come up with together. Quote
ShulaSteakhouse Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 There is not enough ego room for those two on the same roster (CJ and TO that is).Could you imagine the amount of whining and complaining they'd do for not getting enough balls thrown to them? (not to mention there's no way they could afford them both for any period of time probably). It would be insane what Marvin would have to deal with.If TO tought McNabb was bad (which he isn't obviously) just wait til he goes to Atlanta and has Mr. run-first, pass-later Vick throwing to him. (can't stand scrambling/running QB's in the NFL these days - they get hurt too much).TO's apology struck me as being nothing more than necessary image/reputation control for the future. Quote
skyline Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 I'd rather fire Marvin Lewis and promote Carson to the practice squad..........Seriously. Quote

MacD BengalFan Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 Perish that thought!!! That is not the kind of publicity the Bengals need. He would tear the team apart and say it was not his fault. Don't need it. Don't want it! Quote
redsfan2 Posted November 8, 2005 Author Report Posted November 8, 2005 Tough crowd.C'mon guys .... he said he was sorry and that he'd learned something. Maybe he has ...... this time anyway. As far as getting the ball ..... Palmer is throwing 28 to 35 or 36 times a game. That's plenty of passes to go around for him CJ ... TJ ... CH ... CP and the tight ends ( if they ever decided to use them ) Are you guys forgetting that grenade he dropped down the back of our pants in the opening series of the Eagles game ???? Now tell me seriously that all of you woulnd't be getting a semi watching that come from Palmer ( who is better than McNabb by the way ) to TO on the first play of the game against the Colts. " ....... and 65,000 of the Bengals faithful cheer as Owens streaks into the endzone after completeing a 75 yard pass and run from MVP candidate Carson Palmer " ...... fades to cheers as TO flexes in the enzone. Gotta stop now .... just getting too worked up. Have another Quote
MacD BengalFan Posted November 8, 2005 Report Posted November 8, 2005 Tough crowd.C'mon guys .... he said he was sorry and that he'd learned something. Maybe he has ...... this time anyway.Do you really think his apology is sincere? I saw the press conference which T.O. said "I'm sorry" and I am not convinced. Plus, if he is, he will not change his attitude to his teammates. He will eventually divide the team and say stupid things about his teammates that will get him back into the mess he is in now. He has done it before, he will do it again. He did it in San Fran, then showed the hand to Baltimore (thank goodness for that) and then felt going to the Super Bowl was enough for his career. The Bengals don't need a proven cancer. They have dealt with them before and they no longer play for the Bengals. Don't want him, don't need him. Quote

kingwilly Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 I'd rather be a Browns fan than have TO on the Bengals. Quote

A guy goes on one little rant cause he's feeling un appreciated .......You're all focusing / obsessing on the negative. What about the potential positives that could come out of it ???? Stripes Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 No thanks. He'd be a productive player on this team while he is here, but I don't want any ass clowns screwing with our chemistry. I think if any coach out there could properly handle his antics, it'd be Marvin, however. Quote
NYBengalfan Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 No way in hell, he would be constantly arguing with CJ and would be fighting over who should be number 1 WR...wouldnt co-exist, bad for locker room.. NO WAY IN HELL!!!!!!!!!!Chad is better anyway, because he's all about winning and the team. Quote
