Chris Canty the clown doesn't think Burrow is elite

All good, I get that take as well and don't necessarily disagree.
I really like Herbert, Goff and Nix.  I follow the Texans closely and like Stroud a lot as well.
I was never a big fan of Williams, Love, or Maye, but they have had success recently for sure.
If all things are equal, I take Burrow over any of them, but in regards to the injury concerns, I do not disagree.

One might argue, they are all one play from a season ending injury or worse.
The term injury "prone" has always interested me as I don't look at it as much more than bad luck.
It's the toughest sport in the world with really severe injuries happening dang near every weekend.
What are the odds of spending a career in football and coming away unscathed?  Slim I would suspect.

Anyway a question to ponder is, if you could take a healthy name your QB, who are you taking?
Burrow is in my top 5 with ease.

Personally, I love the games of Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes and Burrow.
I think all 4 are in the elite category, but understand varying opinions exist.

Do you think Tyler Eifert was injury prone or just bad luck?

I see no difference, in that injury situation between him and Burrow.

People can call it whatever they want honestly.  I don't care enough to debate it.

You play football, you will probably get hurt.  Injuries are likely for all players.

If it happens to one player more than another, that's just the way it goes.

I think the key, and my point is, what you alluded to when you said, “All things being equal, I’d take Burrow over any of them!”

I don’t think there are very many teams that wouldn’t agree!

However, so far, sadly, that’s not the way it is . . . (so far).

Hopefully, the next few years will be different.

Yes, it’s one thing AND expected for guys to get hurt and be out a few games in a season but when guys go down for most of the season, it makes other teams gun shy to take that chance on them, which is sadly what happened to Eifert.

My cousin is a Vikings fan and he agreed with the behind scenes decision (money/contracts) when the Vikings let Darnold walk, after a 14-3 season, and signed McCarthy.

After 2 years of injuries with McCarthy, and seeing where Darnold is with Seattle, he’s hoping it’s not going to be a choice the Vikings made, that they’ll end up regretting!

There's a lot of talk (I am convinced that's all it is) about what it would take to pry Burrow away from the Bengals.

I have to admit, that while I really don't want to see Burrow leave, the thoughts are intriguing.
Especially considering that I don't think the defense is going to improve sooner rather than later.

I'm not planning on checking PFT or some site and seeing Burrow traded, but it's an interesting thought to ponder.
The whole, "what if" aspect.
