This seems a topic just as good as anything football related to share in a bye week thread, so here it goes…

If you have never owned a backpack leaf blower that produces winds at 250 mph, you simply have not lived.

I fired up my new blower and meant to do the garage and entryway. Ended up doing the whole acre so quickly it wasn’t even funny.

Additional joys to be had:
-Chasing son around and making him cry.
-Pissing off the wife and covering her in leaves when she came to check on me.
-The neighbors cat will no longer be a problem.
-Works the same on neighbors as leaves.

Anyway, happy Sunday.

Here’s how much I love my husquevarna backpack blower:

I sold my house in ‘22, bought and moved into a condo.  I got rid of almost all my lawn/outdoor stuff, but kept my backpack blower.  I still use it to blow the leaves off my little driveway.

It is hard to comprehend (minus economic considerations) why anyone would rake leaves anymore.

Final note: these 2 cycle motors are incredibly durable.  I can’t remember how old this blower is but it’s old.  Anyway the plastic gas tank developed a leak.  I googled it and discovered a method of sealing cracks in plastic gas tanks.  It’s easy and all you use is super glue and baking soda.  It worked.  I used the blower a few times, then couldn’t hold back and found myself putting a totally redundant piece of duct tape over the repaired crack.  Just couldn’t help it.

Just watched Pratt get isolated in coverage, beaten for a td.  I don’t know what Our old DC thinks Pratt can do, he was isolated against a WR.  No contest, really.

It amazes me how the Ravens defense looked worse than the Bengals at one time then all of a sudden out of nowhere they look good again. Wonder what changed for them, they didn’t change coaches, but something changed

They got rid of ping pong tables in the locker room.

Not saying that’s the key but that’s what they did.

Good coaching finds a way to turn things around, they find a way to fix the problems to why the team is struggling. We can see that with what the Ravens are doing right now, many people making fun of them, call them dead, and now won 3 straight, there defense is playing so much better, and they at least are giving themselves a shot in a weak division.

Damn I wish this team had coaches that could do that!!

Sheldon Rankins!

Yup players that come over to this team from other teams on defense, all of a sudden forget how to play defense. They leave and go back and all of a sudden remember, it’s so sad
