HoosierCat Posted Tuesday at 04:13 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 04:13 PM McLaughlin out. imo will almost certainlymake the PS if he gets through waivers. Not sure any team is going to give an active roster spot to a guy still working back from injury but who knows. https://www.cincyjungle.com/cincinnati-bengals-news/173165/seth-mclaughlin-injury-ohio-state-alabama Njongmeta cut. https://www.cincyjungle.com/cincinnati-bengals-news/173210/maema-njongmeta-waived Bummer. Hope he makes the PS. Quote
HoosierCat Posted Tuesday at 04:19 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 04:19 PM Scrolling through bengals twitter for the first time in forver. Per the rumor mill, OT Devin Cohran in getting the axe. Ditto OT Andrew Coker. TE Cam Grandy making the final 53 for now. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted Tuesday at 04:25 PM Author Report Posted Tuesday at 04:25 PM Put me in the camp that thinks Grandy making it only makes him the first cut with any new additions. Quote
HoosierCat Posted Tuesday at 05:06 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 05:06 PM Multiple twitter reports saying PJ Jules has made the roster, at least for now. CB Brayln Lux waived. Quote
HoosierCat Posted Tuesday at 05:36 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 05:36 PM Isaiah Williams out. Looks like Tinsley snagged the last WR spot. Quote

ArmyBengal Posted Tuesday at 05:56 PM Author Report Posted Tuesday at 05:56 PM Ugh, that saga will continue until he retires now. Note to self, don't watch Chiefs games. Quote

Stripes Posted Tuesday at 07:32 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 07:32 PM The Ravens cut CB Armour-Davis. I think he might be worth a flier for the back-end CB room and a little Baltimore intel. Quote

AMPHAR Posted Tuesday at 09:54 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 09:54 PM Keeping 8 on the OL is a shock, IMO. Cochran? did not see that coming and had him squarely in as swing tackle. My guess there is some sort of addition coming. Not that I count every year but 8 total OL seems rare. Quote
HoosierCat Posted 22 hours ago Report Posted 22 hours ago Cochran could be back on the PS. But yeah I think a waiver claim or maybe Risner is incoming on the OL. Hard to see them going into the season with just 8. Quote

gregcook69 Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago Some good stats in here concerning Burrow and what all the ‘negative’ he’s had to deal with and was still able to overcome and finish top tier. As far as crediting his success to Chase and Higgins, it was nice to see his scoring drive with the second team receivers against the Commanders. Also the Bengals went 3-1 in 2022 with Chase out with injuries. I had no clue the Chiefs OL was banged up in the SBs against Tampa and the Eagles! Very telling. https://stripehype.com/joe-burrow-claims-hes-best-qb-on-planet-these-stats-totally-back-him-up?utm_source=gol Quote
HoosierCat Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago Taxi squad: Signed the following 13 players to the practice squad (all were with the Bengals during training camp): --HB Gary Brightwell --OT Devin Cochran --OT Andrew Coker --CB Jalen Davis --LB Joe Giles-Harris --G Jaxson Kirkland --CB Bralyn Lux --C Seth McLaughlin --HB Kendall Milton --WR Jordan Moore --LB Maema Njongmeta --DE Isaiah Thomas --WR Isaiah Williams *Also signed QB Brett Rypien to the practice squad. Rypien (6-2, 200), a sixth-year player out of Boise State University, originally was a college free agent signee of Denver in 2019. He has played in 10 career games with four starts for the Broncos (2020-22) and L.A. Rams ('23), and completed 98 of 168 passes for 950 yards and four TDs with nine INTs. He also spent time on Seattle's practice squad and the N.Y. Jets' active roster during the 2023 season, then spent the entire '24 campaign on Minnesota's practice squad. The Bengals' practice squad currently is two spots shy of the 16-player limit. In addition, the following three players, who each were waived/injured by the Bengals yesterday, cleared waivers today and reverted to the team's Reserve/Injured list: --OT Caleb Etienne --TE Tanner McLachlan --G Cordell Volson Quote
HoosierCat Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago Waiver claims. If the Bengals put any in, they got jumped by some team in front of them. Didn’t lose anyone to a claim, tho. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2025-nfl-waiver-claims-tracker-titans-claim-four-players-including-jalyn-armour-davis-from-ravens/ Quote
HoosierCat Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago I guess league minimum turned out to be enough. They signed Risner. Quote
AMPHAR Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Dalton from the Double Deuce signed. So there will have to be a corresponding release. Quote
