volcom69 Posted September 7 Report Posted September 7 Well on paper this offense shouldn’t be stopped and be able to score on any team at any time. The defense is still a mystery to me so many new young guys, I knew DC that we have no clue how he will be. I’m guessing the defense might be a little rough early, but hopefully it does not take long to turn it around. Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 7 Report Posted September 7 3 1/2 hours to kickoff !! Can’t wait but I have bit of a conundrum. I’m trying figure out game day attire. Have to decide between old school Atkins jersey and white Burrow jersey. The orange Stewart jersey is for next weeks home opener I will be at, so that’s out. First things first, Taco Bell is NOT Mexican food. It’s a bastardization of something Mexican related. I spent too much time in San Antonio over my military career to ever confuse the two. That being said, adding beans to the chili cheese burrito crushes !! Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 7 Author Report Posted September 7 Woke up today to a fresh hell: a home invasion of yellowjackets who have decided to occupy the downstairs back room. Apparently there’s a nest under the front overhang and with fall approaching the time has come to boot the now-useless male drones out of the hive for the winter. Unfortunately they left through the wrong door. The silver lining is that most of them have expired. There’s probably 100+ dead on the window ledge. A bunch more came in last time I looked but have since either left back the way they came or joined their brethren in the great beyond. They’re not aggressive and don’t seem interested in exploring the rest of the house, save for the oddball here and there. So I’m just keeping door closed. Did email a local company that handles nest removals, hopefully hear back from them soon. Wonder how much this will cost me…sigh. Go Bengals. Quote
HoosierCat Posted September 7 Author Report Posted September 7 Oh also I’m out of beer and can’t buy any until noon because if you have a beer before noon on Sunday in Indiana it makes baby Jesus cry or something, Quote
Stripes Posted September 7 Report Posted September 7 I have performed the blood sacrifice upon the Orange Altar. I have arranged the bones into the shape of a Cleveland Brown. I have inserted ten needles into the hair doll spiritually bonded to Myles Garrett. My Joe Burrow shrunken head observed all. May it be enough to earn victory against a bad team in Week One. 1 1 Quote
ArmyBengal Posted September 7 Report Posted September 7 That’s messed up Hoosier. Especially the beer !! 1 Quote

COB Posted September 7 Report Posted September 7 Well well well, what do we have here? A power running game? Quote
COB Posted September 7 Report Posted September 7 They ran behind Patrick a lot, he must be a capable run blocker. Quote
volcom69 Posted September 7 Report Posted September 7 Well guess here comes the question can the defense make stops get the ball back to the offense. I sure hope so Quote
COB Posted September 7 Report Posted September 7 Oh Capital One ads that ask, “what’s in your wallet”, I missed you. Can’t wait to watch about 1000 of those ads this fall. 1 Quote
