HoosierCat Posted April 26 Author Report Posted April 26 Zeirlein again: Stout runner and workhorse who handled a whopping 633 touches for Texas Tech’s offense over the last two seasons. Brooks runs low to the ground with a powerful base and instant cut quickness to shake tacklers or elude them in tight quarters. He can keep a run alive but doesn’t have the stride length or acceleration to create space and run away from a rally-hard defense, which could turn him into more of a try-hard grinder. He plays on third downs but hasn’t been all that explosive out of the backfield. Brooks’ productivity and ability to force missed tackles give him a chance to become an NFL backup. also: Will catch everything thrown into his frame. Puts funk into contact on blitz pickup and chip blocks. That’s right boys… Quote
TJJackson Posted April 26 Report Posted April 26 and we finish with a fuckin' running back. JEEBUS!!!!!!!! why do I have to be a fan of this team Quote
volcom69 Posted April 26 Report Posted April 26 This is guy is awesome! I can see him having a huge role if they use him. Great pick up there 1 Quote
ArmyBengal Posted April 26 Report Posted April 26 Thought he got hurt which sapped all his speed? Think that’s why he fell so far. Maybe I’m thinking of someone else, but a RB in the 6th huh? Wow. Way to close it out Bengals. Quote
HoosierCat Posted April 26 Author Report Posted April 26 Really good blocker, can see him getting used the same way they used All while he was healthy. Quote
COB Posted Sunday at 01:53 AM Report Posted Sunday at 01:53 AM Can probably play teams as well. Quote
Stripes Posted Sunday at 04:51 AM Report Posted Sunday at 04:51 AM I have tried so hard, but I just can't do it. I can't. I don't have it in me. I have no opinion of this draft pick. It happened. I saw it. Those are my thoughts about Tahj Brooks, RB, Texas Tech. 1 Quote
