COB Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 Man I can’t believe that PI call on the Ravens on that last drive. Terrible. Quote
TJJackson Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 Id prefer the Bills win, and (sorry Army) they are my favorite of the 5 remaining teams to win the Superbowl I feel like they are like us in the sense of being a small city team whose been to the superbowl a few times and never won. I was also a big fan of Thurman Thomas back in the day I think they have the offensive firepower to put up enough points against KC that the refs simply wont matter Quote
Stripes Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 Pour the Ravens tears into a chalice so that I may drink of them. 1 Quote
AMPHAR Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 I'm in agreement with all Steeler and Raven fans. 1. Trade Watt 2. Trade Lamar, Andrews 3. Fire Tomlin 4. Fire Harbaugh These guys among others are easy to replace. Do it. 1 Quote
ArmyBengal Posted January 20 Report Posted January 20 Bills at Chiefs ?? Figured that would be the case. That sucks. Commanders at Eagles ?? Happy for the Commanders and that fanbase that had suffered under Snyder. Don’t care who wins. If I have to pick, gimme the Commanders. Quote

ArmyBengal Posted January 23 Report Posted January 23 What is it with Sportskeeda and people simply commenting on what someone else commented about regarding some situation? Again not giving anything new to consider that hasn't already been said. The Bengals don't take big swings or take risk. The Bengals owner limits the team. The Bengals have free agent decisions to make with Chase and Higgins. The Bengals have team needs to address in the draft. If the Bengals had just beaten the Patriots, they would have been in the playoffs. The Bengals only have themselves to blame. Well no shit huh ?? Newsflash... The Bengals next to never take big swings and big risks. Mike Brown, yada yada, he sucks. We are WELL aware. That's not a new concern. The Bengals can afford both Chase and Higgins, as there is no one else coming up to pay big money to. All teams have team needs to address in the draft. If the Colts didn't lose to the Jags and Giants (both suck) they would be in the playoffs. Miami the same with losing to the Titans and Jets. This is not something exclusive to the Bengals. 1 Quote
COB Posted January 23 Report Posted January 23 Horrible news - they are going to demolish the concrete plant that sits directly to the south of our practice field. Quote

Damn. Better add another $10 million to stadium maintenance costs. Now when they need concrete they’ll have to hire actual trucks and laborers instead of just sending Troy over with a wheelbarrow. 1 Quote
ArmyBengal Posted January 23 Report Posted January 23 The question is, how can the Bengals tap into this as a reason to bump the cost of a Coke to $15.00 in 2025? 1 Quote

My take was Herd felt sorry for Burrow because, reading between the lines, he’s going to end up like Marino and Herd thinks he deserves better! He leads the league in passing and doesn’t even MAKE the playoffs?!?! Die hard fans like you know it’s que sirah sirah for the Bengals, and we just suck it up, but very few have the balls to say it, PUBLICLY, out loud! They’d rather feel sorry for Mike, knowing his dad had probably the most brilliant mind in football! Seems to me Army you’re just blowing off frustration steam because you’ve locked into a Bengals fan for life, regardless! Quote
COB Posted January 23 Report Posted January 23 No more training camp shots of guys walking in front of the concrete plant. This kind of ambiance doesn’t grow on trees. 1 Quote

Seems to me Army you’re just blowing off frustration steam because you’ve locked into a Bengals fan for life, regardless! I don't know, I think Mike Brown takes a lot of heat publicly. I just don't think he cares. Heck, if I was an old man with billions, I don't think I would care either. I'm just going to do me. Frustration is just part of sports in my opinion. We aren't the only sports fans who share in that one. However, we seem to have the Lions share and yes, it gets annoying. As for the article, I'm simply not a fan of people regurgitating what someone else has already said. If I wanted to hear thoughts about Herd, I would simply listen to him. Not Shivam Damohe whoever he is. If you want to comment on what someone else has already said, just join Bengalszone. We do that every day. Quote
AMPHAR Posted Saturday at 03:22 PM Report Posted Saturday at 03:22 PM You got to question what these Bengals fans that talk about Mike Brown; what they truly watch and understand on a weekly basis about the NFL. In 1-4 start. 3 teams were in the Division round. 2 are in the Conference Champ round. They have destroyed the other AFC participant in the most recent match ups. In that 1-4 start all were 1 score or less losses, 2 came down to the last play, all decided in the 4th quarter. Then they win 5 in a row. No matter your opinion on the quality opponent when you factor in the first 5 games and the last 5 games that does not happen without talent. Yeah Burrow may never make a 2nd Superbowl. Too bad. There's been 34 individual Superbowl winning QBs. 50 something individual starters. 2 Heisman winning QBs to win a Superbowl. Out of the thousands that have started NFL games. Yeah its hard. This is historical of the NFL. Warren Moon? Kenny Anderson? Hell Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers have been NFL MVPs multiple times. Played in 3 Superbowls combined? Lamar Jackson? Of course Marino. Its not a HOF QBs birth right to win a Superbowl or go to multiple Superbowls. Quit crying and making Burrow out to be some victim. He's a great QB and surrounded by great play makers. Needs a better line and personal mentality to cut out 15-20 sacks or negative plays a season. Then a competent defense. He'll be on a team this August that will be among the favorites to win the AFC with Vegas. Quote
TJJackson Posted Monday at 03:57 AM Report Posted Monday at 03:57 AM F U C K worst possible superbowl Army, you need help with the yard or anything on that day? 1 Quote
Stripes Posted Monday at 04:13 AM Report Posted Monday at 04:13 AM Go Eagles, I guess. I’m already bored. At least Jalen Hurts put that stupid “QBs that lose their first SB never return” stat, post-Jim Kelly, to sleep. 1 Quote
HoosierCat Posted Monday at 04:22 AM Author Report Posted Monday at 04:22 AM Yeah I give exactly zero shits who wins. Bring on free agency. Quote
COB Posted Monday at 05:08 AM Report Posted Monday at 05:08 AM Agreed, not sure there was a matchup I wanted less than Eagles/Chiefs. I’ll watch it, not sure why. Quote
TJJackson Posted Monday at 05:39 AM Report Posted Monday at 05:39 AM I suppose i'd like it less if the Steelers were in it, but not much less Quote
ArmyBengal Posted Monday at 02:57 PM Report Posted Monday at 02:57 PM Don't really care. I didn't want either the Chiefs or the Bills to win that game, so I will just take the good away from it and take pleasure in knowing all those shitbag Bills fans I hate so much are unhappy today. Didn't use to be that way either. I use to feel a sort of kinship with them. Not any more. Eat a dick Bills fans. At this point my only take away is seeing guys that could win a ring that I like and feel deserve it. Chiefs: DeAndre Hopkins, Samaje Perrine Eagles: Saquon Barkley, Chase Brown's brother (Sydney) BONUS WIN: Kenny Pickett could win a SB with the Eagles and not the Steelers Honestly, there are a lot of players that I like individually on both of these teams. Many I had hoped the Bengals would have drafted through the years. Funny how some of that has worked out. While I won't be watching the game, there's that aspect I suppose. Hey TJ, I'd offer to have you do something, but I currently have Andre Smith, Russell Bodine and John Ross handling the small details around the house. Want to come over and watch them work? Quote
TJJackson Posted Monday at 03:44 PM Report Posted Monday at 03:44 PM I thought they were tilling COBs veggie garden and clearing the leaves from his gutters? Quote

I got them on loan from COB for a short duration to Power Wash the driveway and cut down some obnoxious honeysuckle plants along the wood line. For some reason Bodine keeps showing up in a Speedo. Something about COB requested that? I don't know... 1 Quote
