I don't know what it is about Myles, but when I see him, I don't see a football player.
I see a salesman pretending to be a football player. A BIG salesman.
I really hope I'm wrong, but where's the violence?

While I understand being a football player and being a Soldier are different (Don't tell Kellen Winslow Jr.) I couldn't lift weights during workouts in the Army without the thought of fucking someone up.  It was a constant state of aggression.

That's what looks to be missing with Myles... aggression.

Prove me wrong Myles.  PLEASE !!

I know what you mean.  Myles has a certain look about him.  Looks can be deceiving though.  Let’s hope this is his breakout year.  It pretty much has to be his breakout year.

If that were to equate to every week of behaving in church = 1 sack and there being 17 weeks in the season, that would be enough to get me back into church !!

SACKS FOR THE LORD !!!

Walked on water, raised people from the dead, let alone the whole son of God. Pretty sure he could toss a screen pass.

Not sure what his RAS score was or how PFF rated him, but he was a blue chipper for sure. Probably where the term “Generational talent” came from.

Never mind aggression, Murphy doesn’t even look much of an athlete in that clip.

He’s also likely tossed hours of footage on the cutting room floor before thinking that was his best effort.

A senior Cincinnati Bengals executive said that unless the team strikes a deal with Hamilton County on its lease at Paycor Stadium or exercises a two-year extension option, it could “go wherever we wanted.”

Katie Blackburn, the daughter of Bengals owner Mike Brown, made the comments at an owner’s meeting in Palm Beach, Fla., April 1, according to The Athletic.

“We could, I guess, go wherever we wanted after this year if we didn’t pick the option up,” Blackburn said. “We’ll see. Like I said, all these things will be done in due course. We are having discussions, and so we’re hopeful that the county is thinking about it a lot, too, and wants to get it addressed in a way that would be beneficial to both of us.”

It’s the latest snippet of information about the high-stakes lease negotiations, which are continuing after the Business Courier revealed in January that talks had gotten rocky and that both sides traded charges of default.

In response, Hamilton County Commissioner Denise Driehaus, who is the president of the three-member body of elected officials that would have to approve any new deal with the team, said the county “is fully engaged with the team in these high-priority negotiations.”

“We remain committed to working diligently to secure a new long-term and market-rate lease that keeps Hamilton County home to the Bengals for decades and is in the best interest for the taxpayers,” she said in a statement to the Business Courier.

The Bengals have until June 30 to notify the county, which owns the stadium and is responsible for its maintenance and upkeep, that they are extending the current lease by two years. It is set to expire June 30, 2026.

They’ll have to re-up.  Hard to picture them finding a new home by Sept of ‘26.  I hope Katie enjoyed Palm Beach.

It'd be easy to move.   Any UFL city could take them tomorrow operational wise.  The Oilers moved in a year played a season in Memphis.    Bengals have all the leverage and if the county drags their feet and attempts to test the Brown family willingness to move, they'll just paint themselves into a corner like the last time.

The entire riverfront is built on a pile of debt financed by sales tax.  Every Bengals home game is like a minor opening day.  They are stuck, its best to give the promise of improvement to get them to sign the option years then try like hell to meet those so they'll sign the next extension.

Let’s check it out.  I looked it up and UFL cities are:  Arlington, Birmingham, DC, Houston, Memphis, Michigan, San Antonio, and St. Louis.

Arlington - Never.  Jerra would block it.

Birmingham - they’ve had a lot of minor league football.  No other major sports are present, just like Cincy.  Sorry Reds fans, little dig there. A real possibility.

DC - no way.

Houston - no.

Memphis - I guess the Titans and the Saints could try to block this.  But could they?  If you haven’t been to Memphis, you are missing nothing.

Michigan - Lions block it, rightfully so.

San Antonio - Jerry and the Texans probably block this but they shouldn’t.  Texas could likely support all 3 teams.

St Louis - this city desperately wants an nfl franchise again and probably sends Mike a Christmas card every year.  Very real threat.

Summary: Birmingham and St Louis are potential landing spots for the bengals.  I don’t see it happening as the various branches of the Brown family are firmly rooted in the tri-state area and you can’t give tons of jobs to the 4th and 5th generation if they all live 4 states away.

I don’t care if they do leave.
Said it many times and will continue.

That being said, I don’t think they will.
Just don’t expect me to support it with taxpayer money. Some will and that’s fine.

If they were to move the obvious play is Chicago, where they can share a big ass new stadium with da Bears, and it doesn’t geographically mess up the AFCN.

That was the exact same attitude in 1989.  People laughed at the thought of Jacksonville Bengals.  Laughed at Nashville, Charlotte.  Flat out thought he was lying about Baltimore.

What you can or can not see isn't a factor.   All those markets I listed above are better and no worse equal to Cincinnati today.     Haven't even discussed a move within the market but out of Hamilton County.

Its best if the County makes a good faith effort in the current time to keep them.  Then keep those promises.  Fuck around and they'll once again find out how easy it is for a NFL team to move.

The reality is Cincinnati is only a major league city when you factor in regional populations.  Thus there are obvious in market relocation options as well.

Obviously Chicago.   But Columbus?  Louisvillde?  Boone County/Florence?   Sure.  If Cincinnati could make it work, then those market could.

When factor in UFL markets.  All new/existing college football and soccer stadiums that could serve as a temp home a move would be easy.

Can you imagine if they moved to Columbus?  I’d buy season tickets.

I still see the entrenchment of the Brown family as a major obstacle to moving.  Is Mike really going to relocate at this point in his life?  And would he sign off on moving the team but he stays here and gets fruit thrown at him every time he’s trying to redeem 78 separate coupons at the Kroger checkout?
